Located in the upper hills of Golan near Porthmadog Wales you will find a green tranquil
natural spot filled with meadows, streams, lakes, sheep and cows.
There is ample parking.
The hostel boasts a 60 person capacity with ensuites and shared bathrooms. The canteen is set bedside a large professional kitchen and upstairs has a large games room and large lounge area.
Just outside is a fire pit and circular Outdoor space for gatherings.
The hostel also has a Laundry room and a drying room.
About a 10-15min drive away from Porthmadog harbour. We had a very happy stay and would recommend this place to those who wish to experience the Welsh countryside.

I've never stayed at a hostel before. I would definitely stay there again. Situated amongst pleasant views. The lady manager was a very helpful and friendly lady who was knowledgeable on the surrounding area and amenities. The room we stayed in was clean, it had 2 sets of bunk beds with matching bedding and a sink. The toilet wasn't very far away. The room was also dog friendly. There were kitchen facilities had we needed them and breakfast was provided if ordered. There were 2 large lounges with board games and such provided. Bathroom facilities were clean. All in all a very pleasant stay. I would recommend.

Thoroughly recommended! Lou was a great host- she was very accommodating, really welcoming and very friendly. The building is interesting (exposed beams etc), fantastic location, very comfortable.
The kitchen is closed (no dinner/breakfast) but there are options fairly locally, and there are facilities to make hot & cold drinks.

Arrived late with a group of 30 with instructions for entering after the last check in. Rooms were all ready with sheets and various rooms (kitchen, washrooms, etc) all easy enough to find. Rooms were warm and beds comfortable enough. Breakfast was early as arranged so that we could leave by 7am. Food was good a there were veggie options. Staff were friendly and helpful. Price was good and booking was easy. Staff were helpful when it came to arranging various aspects of our stay. Would definitely recommend!

Attended a party at the hostel with around 35 friends. Great location for walks and other activities. Lovely staff who helped us when needed but also gave us space. Would certainly recommend!

This place is amazing! Perfect for a budget and they are so friendly. In a beautiful rural area. Although if you are tall do not go for a bottom bunk as you cannot sit up in it
