Lea Marston Hotel

Such a lovely hotel with excellent facilities. A group of us stayed here for a week as we were working away from home. The rooms were tidied every day, bed was really comfortable and everything/everywhere was easy to navigate. The breakfast was delicious and had a great variety of options. Dinner was just as delicious and never disappointed. The staff were also brilliant - so friendly and helpful. They have a pool and gym facilities as well. I only managed to get time to use the gym once and it was clean and tidy. Thank you for a great week!

When we first arrived, we initially had issues with our room where it was cold and there was no electricity. We thought this was rectified but after 5 minutes, the electric went off again. They immediately moved us to a larger, warmer room and gave us a couple of a vouchers for free drinks which is the reason for this review being a full five stars - everywhere has issues but it’s how you deal with them that counts and these people were spot on.

We then went on to have a great time in the pool which was a good temperature and ate in the restaurant afterwards.

The food here was great, I especially enjoyed the calamari.

Breakfast was spot on too as it included everything we, as a family of three, could ask for.

Lovely little place, off the beaten track. My second visit here for work. As always some rooms are better than others. If your room is overlooking the driving range, they collect the balls around 6am..

Amazing venue. Staff are so friendly and helpful. The surrounding are beautiful . The food is delicious . Can't fault it . Highly recommend .

Stayed again at the weekend, beautiful hotel, fabulous staff and delicious food. Rooms are clean and has everything you could possibly need. I'm sure we will stay again.

We’ve supplied our event hire services at Lea Marston so many times and I thought it was about time we left a review after yet another great example of customer service and helpfulness.
Sam Cole who organises the events & weddings is just so friendly and helpful each time we reach out to her - and thought she deserved a mention! Quite often in the hospitality business you never know how accommodating or welcoming venue staff/managers may be with suppliers in their venue. Some are standoffish and can’t wait to get you off the phone. But not the case here, each time I’ve called or emailed Sam she responds straight away and is always ready to be of help! Likewise I’ve just phoned the hotel asking about access and timings to an event at the weekend and Helena couldn’t do enough to find out all the details to help me, to help the customer :)
If you are planning a wedding or event here I can’t recommend the staff or venue enough - nothing is too much trouble!

We didn't stay here but had breakfast and dinner twice while visiting someone who was staying here.
The service here was outstanding in my opinion. Everyone we came in contact with, reception, a housekeeping lady in the corridor, the staff in the restaurant and bar were all super pleasant and friendly without exception.
I promised them I would leave a good report and here it is! They deserved it.

I came here with my family for Mother’s Day Sunday lunch.
We were given a warm inviting greeting by staff upon arrival to the restaurant, it was a nice setting with a singer in the background which was a nice touch.
The staff went above and beyond. I asked a few questions about entertainment going forward which a member of staff was most informative. The food was delicious!! We couldn’t fault our experience. Staff were polite, friendly and accommodating. We shall return.

Met 2 former colleagues in Hathaway’s Bar. Very pleasant food options were served quickly and all were extremely tasty.

From the moment we walked in, right to check out, it’s was amazing. We were booked into the executive room a day after our wedding. The room was pristine, the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Me & my husband had the best sleep in years. The pub food was absolutely gorgeous, lamb fell off the bone, the breakfast was really fresh, lots & lots to choose from. Staff were amazing. Was an absolutely incredible stay. We’re so happy and will be booking the same room for our birthday. The other reviews must be nit picking because everything was above & beyond what we expected. Gorgeous place!

We enjoyed our Christmas Dinner and dance with an overnight stay. Thoroughly enjoyed. Food was gorgeous. However, breakfast could've been more organised. It seemed we had to wait for cups, orange juice, eggs etc.

All good and would recommend though

Super size rooms with facilities... and extremely friendly & helpful staff.
Lots of car parking spaces... lovely bar & food.
Lea Marston Hotel is surrounded by gardens & "beer" Gardens.

The team at Lea Marston were very helpful when arranging a conference room for a meeting with my team and a supplier. We also stayed at the hotel in the evening and the staff were great too.
I'm just waiting for them to respond to my email about sending me an invoice for my bar drinks.

Good clean rooms.

The gym and pool are adequate.

The bar has a good selection of drinks, food is standard pub fare and reasonably priced.

I was very happy with my stay. Even though my hotel room was spotless it was cleaned again the next day :D. There was a lot of attention to details (like the folded corner of the toilet paper, even though I find it unnecessary), which makes you feel like a king or a queen. I liked the room design too.

Food was very nice, at least one place where vegan food is not falafels! We had vegan curry the first night, vegan lasagna the second and vegan chili the third. It was all very well made.

A couple of things I'd suggest for improvement:
*adding gluten free options or at least mentioning them as available
*having herbal tea or redbush in a room, not only black tea
*healthy bars (like date bars) instead of biscuits in the room

We also missed to be able to go on a trail somewhere around, without having to drive far. But they can't really change their location, so if you don't mind it, then go for it!

The manager of the hotel was very friendly too and I can't fault the customer service either. They all worked very hard. Thank you!

Lovely hotel, although I think I was lucky to be in a newly refurbished, or certainly nicer decked-out room than others that I saw being made up.
I was placed in an easy-access room (not that I needed it, so my review is based on that. Very spacious, large wet-room type shower with a mock stone floor that was soft. However this was also lethal when wet, so you took your life in your hands when showering, and the grab handles around were a necessity. The shower head was disappointing, more water appeared to be leaking out of the connection to the pipe than was coming out of the head, and I personally didn't like the smell of the included toiletries, personal preference obviously.
Sky TV in the room, nice big TV, water bottle, and glasses in the fridge, nice touch.
Food in the attached pub was top notch, and the staff in the pub were all very friendly and helpful also.

I've just left after a very pleasant stay, I won't lie I was a bit worried after reading a few poor reviews😪 but needn't of worried. if I had to nit pick I'd say they could of done with a few more staff on the Saturday night as were very busy but they all coped and were very polite and professional so I wouldn't complain. food on both nights was very good and breakfast was wonderful. The Sunday morning breakfast was a buffet which I think hotels our very pushed to keep standard high but 10 out of 10 it was great only problem I ate far to much, would not have any problem giving recommendation I would definitely stay again if I was in the area thank you very much

Great service, good meeting facilities.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel, We went for a hen spa day. Treatments where amazing, Lovely therapists and facilities. Lunch for our group was well catered for, we had 2 Vegas a vegetarian and 2 meat eaters who all ate lovely meals.
