Had the best meal and evening in the pub. We arrived as the kitchen closed but kept it open especially for us. The food was absolutely amazing and soooo cheap!! Both the chef and bar lady were so welcoming and couldn’t do more to help us. Also dog friendly which is a massive win 😊 Just moved to the area and love it and this pub is the cherry on the cake. Fully recommend 😊 and thanks again to the staff you were the best and sorry we kept you late.

I used to drink here & my mate Ken had his caravan parked here, we were working for Alfred McApine Services & pipelines constructing an oil pipeline from Kingsbury to Buncefield we had our yard based at lawford airfield back in 1982 - 1984 the Landlords name was Don he ran the pub with his wife and their 2 daughters, friendly staff and local village people

Had a family Sunday lunch. Its lovely homely cooked food. Good portions for both adults and children.

New refurbishment looks great, mixing modern with traditional.

Recently moved to Long Lawford and have visited this pub twice now, friendly owners and nice and spacious, good pool tables.

Visited this pub today. Very warming and friendly. Free mince pie upon entry. Landlord and landlady very friendly and a nice warm pub . I'm sure I will be frequenting this public establishment again .
