Lidl

Wrong side of town so rarely visited, but I will be going back. Store is well laid out & easy to navigate. Excellent bargains in the centre isles. Having now eaten the food I purchased I was impressed with the quality. Staff are friendly & efficient, with special thanks to the manager that helped this pensioner get his purchases to the car & in the rain too!

Absolutely ravashing, devine and beautiful. Sometimes I go to lidl and contemplate my existence. The smells of the bakery are just so melancholic and the flooring is just so gorgeous. The food never misses, I will forever love lidl. Beautiful place to go.

Nice variety and easy to just pop in and grab something.

We've been shopping at Lidl. We've decided we can do better there than Aldi where we used to go. Still, some items are better at Aldi than Lidl & vice versa.

Excellent quality and value shopping experience. I think lidl is very good and will continue to shop there. Well done. They also do well at opening tills when it starts to get busy.

It was quite quiet for a Wednesday. . The staff were getting ready for changing of promotions, which happen on Thursdays.

Only a couple of checkouts were open, but no long queues.

I managed to buy what I went for (and a little bit more. 😉).

Prices were better than the other big supermarkets.

Good standard Lidl with lots of mixed products at good prices, always good if you like European Food Products, like on holiday!

Best prices and great quality products as always. It's cheap and best, not just groceries. House hold and kitchen electricals are the best.

Good variety of produce at very competitive prices and a very good rewards scheme.
A separate checkout for people with only a few items would be very helpful

I like Lidl's in store bakery. It's worth shopping at Lidl just for that.

Good prices, easy parking. Not quite so easy to get out on the busy road but a small price to pay for what I bought.
Fresh bakery was too enticing for my waistline.
Extra few miles needed for for penance. 😉

Value for the money, way cheaper than any other supermarket (at the cost of the variety). Shopping there happily for 5 years. Queues are fast, as the cashiers are doing their job rapidly.
Most of the 1 star reviews are brain-dead.

Quality items, Good prices

Called in for something to have at lunch, the sandwiches @ 89p was great value and had lots of fillings. ( I have paid 3 times as much for a much poorer offering elsewhere) along with a six pack of crisps for 85p, made a much cheaper meal deal than other places.

Beverly is a true gem, always so kind & courteous, greets you joyously & waits for you to sort your bags out (he knows we can't keep up with him scanning everything through!), & always makes sure your experience is a wonderful one. Thank you to this real gentleman, old-school & appreciated. He makes you feel good & cheerful during your time with him, ensuring you feel comfortable too. Very intuitive.
Piotr on the other hand is shady, talking about his colleagues openly to customers in a derogatory fashion. He could benefit from retraining on ethics/ code of conduct & how to generally act within the role?..Take him down a peg or two & quickly. Also get Emad some training to start again on customer service.

It's so close to me so it's super convenient and they pretty much have everything I need to do my weekly shopping. It's really budget friendly. Great selection of bread, fruit and veg. I rarely go anywhere else for my shopping except for gluten free products, which has now been a recent adjusted dietary requirement. I always check their household items as they have really good selections and seasonal ones. They're really good at keeping the aisles and shelves clean and organised. I much prefer it than Aldi. And they're really quick to open up another checkout.
