Harvester Bell & Barge Rugby

Had an absolutely fantastic meal today to celebrate my sisters 50th birthday. The staff were accommodating for such a large party and gave us all the time we needed before ordering. The salad bar was kept fresh at all times, with plenty available at all times. My only gripe was that the bread was cold. (I swear it used to be warm). I ordered the large mixed grill, which was all cooked to perfection, and as such, I would fully recommend it if you are local or passing through. Thanks again to the amazing staff who made today so special.

We fancied a Harvester not having been for years. Last time wasn't very good but this time it was much better. It was busy so we had to sit in the bar area. Considering it was bank holiday the staff had control of what was going on and were attentive and very nice. Total bonus you can use Blue Light Discount too. A comfortable and pleasant bar area which has been done up since we last came. A really affordable lunch of burgers and unlimited salad done really well. The service was really very good and nice to have staff that can run busy shifts with no shock at it being busy and being able to keep up. We really enjoyed it.

The staff (Joana) where incredibly friendly and super helpful.
We celebrated a Birthday and it got enough attention to be pleasant but not too much to be uncomfortable.
The food is very well portioned and well cooked. It was delicious and enough :D

Went on a busy weekday and it was very busy but I was being served by Joana and she did everything possible to make sure we were happy and satisfied. She definitely needs a pay rise for the amount of running about she was doing! Overall very satisfied with the food and service we received.

Never been in Harvester before but I’ll be looking out for them in the future. Really good food for the price point. The unlimited salad bar is just fabulous. And the staff was so warm friendly and helpful. Well done Harvester team - keep it up 👏🏼👏🏼

My partner and I visited Harvester at Bell and Barge Rugby this evening and I want to say how amazed I was.
We have been coming here for a number of years and the service from our waiter named Justice was perfect.
Justice customer service was exceptional especially whilst it was busy and handled everything so professionally.
I personally know this trade is not easy and where credit is due I feel this needed to be highlighted.
Praising other members of staff for their hard work as well really stood out for us too.

Met at the door by a very professional pleasant and kind lady (Jo) I believe, Who accommodated my specific table request with ease and made it feel very comfortable and acceptable to ask.

Sarah was our server who provided 5* service.
Made suggestions about what sides would compliment our meal, Kindly repeated out order back to us and was very accommodating.

Regular check backs from Sarah and a very nice manner and smile made the whole dining experience a pleasure

Also over heard the ladies in the restaurant serving tables with the same level of professionalism courtesy and kindness

The food was great and the salad was lovely too. I ordered a portion of fried mushrooms and unfortunately they came over cooked, I showed the waitress and she apologised for the bad quality of them and took the off the bill. I did advice her that the chef that cooked them should be made aware of the problem, she did say he would be informed.

After some bad experiences at Harvester, our experience this was completely the opposite. We were greeted by a lovely waitress who was very smiley and pleasant throughout the meal. Checking all was OK and just generally seeming happy to do her job. The food was lovely and we didn't wait long to eat. It was busy when we arrived and the whole vibe was very pleasant!

Excellent service, waitress Amy H was very attentive even though it was a busy night. Food was very good. Only fault was the original table given was extremely tight to sit at and we watched people climbing along seats all night to get in and out of their seats. Lovely design to look at but very poor thought in design and no thought to older people or disabilities.

Always an amazing, friendly welcome massive smile and super accommodating.

Amazing service with upsells recommendations and great ideas for “swap-outs” or changes to compliment your meal

Always checking in to see if everything and everyone is ok? If your drinks are low she is there straight away checking if you want another. If your unsure about anything on the menu she is super knowledgeable and always happy to allow you to take your time

Even when the place is super busy and Jo and her section are full she still takes the time to engage with every customer in the venue.

When ever I go to the Bell I always hope to be sat in Jo section, Not dismissing the other staff as they all work effortlessly.

Firstly all the harvesters around me have shut so I was very excited to see this restaurant.

First visit was a few pints before bed and the stand out feature was the staff, polite, friendly and helpful, customer service is a dying art in this country but this restaurant has it in full force and a stand out member was Nikki.

I came for food the next day and it was lovely food, hot and fresh. And at the night another great atmosphere and excellent service. Will be back next year.

I went for lunch with an elderly lady who just loves the Harvester. We are limited with what she can have because she has no teeth, so any thing we order has to be chewable. But nothing was too much trouble for the lovely staff. We were sat by a very polite lady called Paula who welcomed us with a huge smile. Our waitress was called Tracey she completely understood when i asked for something chewable for my friend. Such a brilliant place to visit.

Great meal out tonight with the family. We were served by Joanne on her section but were also helped out by Teagan, Louisa Drew, Valantino, Gus, Tracey and Nikki and it was great to see old faces too. Great food cooked by the kitchen team too so please pass the thanks on. Sorry for anyone I missed

Had a lovely family meal out at the Bell & Barge last Sunday. Great food, have always loved the salad bar, and great staff especially our server Lacey :-) Didn't book, but this wasn't an issue. Excellent!

We were served by a wonderful waitress called Joana. She could not be any more helpful. She made our visit so nice and she was the best waitress I think I have ever been waitred by. Me and my family and friends could not have had anyone better to serve us. Thank you for you kind and friendly personality. Well worth a visit. We will be returning. Thank you Joana. X
