The George

We were looking for a pub for date night and this pub popped up on Google, and we're glad it did! The service was very good, good atmosphere and clean restaurant! I had the pesto linguini and my partner the pork belly burger; the burger was very good, and the pasta was unfortunately missing the mushrooms and was a bit dry, we informed the staff of this and they glady remade it and kindly took it off the bill, the second plate of pasta was much better with plenty of mushrooms. Also, the prices were amazing, so cheap for these days, for example my partner got a rum and coke for 1£ because he had ordered a burger. Definitely recommend this place!

Had a great evening at The George at a party for our cycling club. Staff really friendly and helpful, quick to get served at the bar even though there were about 60 of us, plus the locals. The food was great. Would thoroughly recommend.

We enjoy a very tasty festive meal last night, the atmosphere was great and our waitress Ellen was very attentive and ensured we had a lovely evening.
I would highly recommend to friends and family 🎅

Went for lunch today, had some lovely meals, had started eating one before could get photo! compliments to Steve and Dylan in the kitchen! Always a good place for food and drinks!!

lovely food and brilliant, fast service. we have visited multiple times (and visit every Wednesday to do their pub quiz- which i highly recommend going to). outside seating area is very cozy and well lit.

I was there for the R2W club night. The food was absolutely incredible; the owner and the waiters were all really nice and always smiling; the beer selection was really really good, too. It has become one of my favourite pubs in Rugby

Lovely Lunchtime date with my Husband before Christmas. Delicious starters of smoked salmon and breaded prawns. Then I had the buttermilk chicken burger special which was so good, really delicious flavours together and Mark had the special Christmas burger. Definitely a rare treat Lunchtime out and really great food, atmosphere and lovely Staff 10/10.

Myself and my mother visited today for a lite lunch .we was both very impressed on the outstanding services given to us by bec's and the chief ...the only 2 members who was working at the time due to staff sickness . Although it was busy they delt with it incredibly and to be honest we wouldn't of known that they was under staffed if we had not over heard a conversation with another customer. Full credit to you both . The food and service was outstanding

Delicious Sunday roast with all the trimmings. Service was a bit slow at times as our drinks sat at the bar for a while before being served... But it was a busy Sunday and the food and puddings were still delicious 👌🏼

Had a wonderful Christmas meal with 30+ people food hot well presented and well cooked. Service quick no fuss lovely friendly staff. Going to visit again soon

Visited today for the first time, the bar was busy and we were served by a young girl (who appeared to be on her own) efficiently and with a smile.
The food was delicious and the staff were attentive during our meal, making the whole experience enjoyable. We will be back!

Food was excellent as always. Very disappointed with the change of menu. Basically taking all the good starters off the set menu and replacing them with vegan options or underwhelming selections. As there are only 4 choices this pushes people to the more expensive set menu

A little gem in Bilton Village, tasty food, great staff, good variety of drinks. Karen is always friendly and great fun, she looks after everyone. A comfortable & quaint family and dog friendly pub! Highly recommend.

Would highly recommend - super friendly in every way… family friendly, dog friendly, and lovely staff.
We chose The George because it was halfway between our home and our holiday destination. The reviews seemed positive, it was dog friendly, and it was near a park. We called ahead to book to make sure we could be seated somewhere suitable as we have both a dog and a toddler. The staff on the phone were very helpful and arranged our booking.
When we arrived on the day we were so pleased with the whole visit to The George. The staff were friendly, attentive, and polite. They were brilliant with our little one and our dog.
The food was excellent. We had the afternoon tea and it was very filling! Because we precooked it was ready really quickly too, which is always a bonus when you have a hungry toddler!
Afterwards we went to the park which was literally on the other side of the road so super convenient to walk the dog and allow our son to play in the park before getting back on the road.
If we’re ever in the area again we’ll be sure to pop in.

Fantastic food and service. Food was well presented, cooked perfectly and at a very reasonable price. All the staff were helpful and polite had even emailed to confirm highchairs and what if any additional needs we had

Nice atmosphere, open fire, good choice of ales. Menu caters for most tastes. Outdoor seating. Friendly staff.

Never eaten here, but often stop in for a drink when out for a walk.

It's a great pub, with a good choice of drinks.

They're always very welcoming and accommodating for the whole family.

The outside sitting area is a very nice place to enjoy the sun with a cold drink on a sunny day.

I've only drank there but the service and the selection of drinks was fantastic and there was a nice friendly atmosphere
