Mawson's Ice Cream Parlour

Absolutely amazing. Waffle trays..OMG! a must visit if you are in the area. Lovely staff are so accommodating while you decide which flavours you want. Even had a delightful non dairy option. Then sit and enjoy it on the seafront!

A very cozy place right near Seascale beach. The staff are very friendly and they serve a good brew. It’s really quite a trendy venue and I’m so glad that I found this spot near my hotel. I’ve got my taste of London in my frothy cappuccino with no compromises.

Excellent, as always. Have been coming here over the past few years, when visiting family who live locally. Always great service, always great quality. Looking forward to the new premises opening in due course. Ice creams and hot chocolates today.

Lovely ice-cream, nice people - good job really, choosing a flavour takes real contemplation. Great location. Reasonable £. Even sunshine at the mo. What more could anyone want?
UPDATE - Bubble gum ice-cream is no longer available - a bit disappointing as it is our son's favourite. However, there are a large number of other flavours to choose from, around 10, I think. Our son has difficulties, and the lady yesterday and the visit prior to this was absolutely fantastic. I really must find out her name next time. 😸😸😸

Absolutely fantastic place! Great (savoury) food, brilliant waffles and pancakes and let's not forget the amazing ice cream. We visit everytime we're at this side of the lakes, it's the best for miles!

My daughter loved her waffles & ice cream. It actually made her smile! 🤣 . I had mint choc chip & banoffee ice cream . Great tasting flavours. The staff were friendly & helpful. Reasonable prices. A must buy whilst in Seascale if you like ice cream.

Best ice cream I've had. I couldn't see the flavour I wanted, but the lady asked what I was looking for, then she disappeared through the back and brought me some of the ice cream I wanted. Thanks Mawsons.

Very good serving of waffles and ice cream and very nice too, wouldn't hesitate to go back again. If you are thinking of going it will not disappoint

Huge variety of delicious ice creams (still working my way through them all!) and really tasty coffee, eat in or take away. Well worth a visit every time we visit Seascale.

Lovely welcome. Nice selection of farm-made ice creams. Particularly enjoyed the strawberry and the jaffa cake Ice creams. We will definitely be going back to check out other flavours. (That is if we ever get another sunny day this year... 🙄)
