amazing location - far from bustle, crowds and heavy traffic, surrounded by beautiful nature. Be ready to sleep in comfy beds with complete silence (only birds singing!) all the night! Sarah (the host) is so friendly and ready to help/advice. The place is also an excellent spot for hikers - lot of routes with different options depending on your fitness level. Highly recommend this place for those who seek simplicity, silence and beautiful nature. You can reach the place by walk (1-1.5 hour) or renting taxi from Keswick.

Our stay at Little Farm Guest House was exceptional. The charm of the rustic accommodations combined with modern comforts made for a truly delightful experience. The hosts were incredibly warm and went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was memorable and serene. I am deeply grateful for their hospitality and would highly recommend Little Farm Guest House to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

Drive carefully, you can have quite a lot of traffic ich that narrow street. Place itself was fantastic and quiet, besides the (occasionally) farm animals. 😄

We've been coming here for years for cream teas after an annual hike up catvells or short stays away and cannot recommend it enough. Brilliant owners and amazing service.

Sarah is a great host.
We took our dog with us and it's dog friendly, in a real sense of the word.
The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the shower hot, the breakfast excellent, the location spectacular. A brilliant location for serious walkers.
Need I say more?
Thanks Sarah & Emily for a great stay.

Lovely experience staying here for 3 nights. Greeted at the door with a warm fire and a cute puppy. Room had a gorgeous view and was very cozy. Breakfast options were amazing and they even packed us a lunch for our hike. Beautiful medium effort hike steps away from the front door yet is an easy drive to the foot of the valley with uncountable walking options in every direction. The owners gave us personalized advice for our stay and drew a map of their favourite hikes!

A small bar is available in-house but it is within walking distance (about 1.5 miles) to a pub with great local beer and multiple vegetarian options. I would recommend anyone going to the lake district to stay here. It was my first time in the area and I will definitely be back. (As a bonus to tourists - it is only about an hours drive away from great viewings of Hadrian's wall).

Wow what a beautiful place this is, the hosts are wonderful and the rooms great (we had the family room). Sarah's cooking is just amazing...locally sourced wholesome food and the cream teas are just fabulous!

Stayed for 3 nights in July. Was our second visit, and have to say what a perfect location it is. Amazing views across the valley, and perfect location for all the top spots in the Lakes, inside 45 mins car. Lovely breakfast and lovely, friendly people.

Beautiful farmhouse B&B in a stunning location. We'll out of the way of the Keswick crowds but only 10 minutes from amenities.
Serves a mean traditional full English and who doesn't love the sound of a rooster in a morning to wake you up!
Also, a nicely stocked bar which is helpful as you've a bit of a trek to the nearest one!
Well worth a stay! 👍

A lovely place to stay. Great views and peaceful surroundings. The room was cosy and the bed was very comfortable and warm. We felt very welcome and enjoyed cosy evenings by the fireplace with a pot of tea. Being able to have drinks from the bar without having to leave the warm lounge was nice too. A good hearty breakfast every day. Most definitely going to stay again.

Magical little place below Catbells. We usually arrive here mid afternoon and skip up CatBells for sunset.
Rooms comfortable and breakfast - well - my friend will say this is the reason we keep coming back. We love the friendly laid back service here, and the accessibility to great walks and views. Since finding this spot, we actually haven't stayed anywhere else in the Lakes!

We came across this place whilst on a walk around the Newlands Valley from Keswick. It was lovely. We had tea and fresh scones which were beautiful and just what we needed. The link to Beatrix Potter made it even more charming. We will definitely be visiting again on our return to the Lakes. Highly recommended

Fabulous BnB with lovely friendly owners who dealt with us as a large noisy family booking very well. Catered for a range of ages and dietary requirements really well and looked after us brilliantly. Rooms are cozy and comfy and the sitting room is a great place to spend an evening. With its own bar and restaurant you don't need to go anywhere else.

Love this place. We go every year for a holiday. Rob and Sarah are so friendly and welcoming. Homemade cakes and scones, and Lakeland ice cream too.

My family and I recently enjoyed the most amazing two days at Littletown Farm Guest House. Outstanding customer experience from beautiful rooms, exceptional breakfast, homemade scones to relaxing in front of a log burner with a super local brew! Murphy, Titch and Nellie were the icing on the cake! We so look forward to visiting again soon. 10/10

Stayed here Saturday night, and I was extremely impressed. Cosy, warm and comfortable. Quiet and relaxing. Friendly welcome and stunning location. The breakfast was EXCELLENT. My husband says, IT'S THEE BEST BREKKY HE'S HAD AT ANY HOTEL OR B&B ANYWHERE!!!. It was a lovely relaxing atmosphere with a great choice and selection, no fruit Or cooked breakfast, it was fruit AND cooked.... 😊 also, the attention to detail was second to none. A choice of stokes brown or Stokes Bloody Mary Sauce yo add to your cooked breakfast to add an extra special twist. I give this location 100 percent. Value, location Rob and Sarah are lovely hosts and offer very lovely accommodation.

We came accross this place as we were walking past after a great day walking over catbells and around the Dale head horseshoe.
It was very popular with lots of space for eating inside and out. Also they offer good parking spaces for £3 a day when parking near the start of Catbells is very limited.
Staff were very friendly and there was a great selection from afternoon teas to cider, beer and lager.
Great to see how farms can diversify from hill farming to picking up the local tourist trade.
We will visit here again with plans to stay in the accommodation.
