Culver House Hotel

Very well positioned by the sea and near local Pub which serves great food.
The accommodation is very clean and comfortable, the owners are so helpful too.
We have stayed twice and would definitely revisit again.

Superb location. Excellently appointed suite. Very good communication as to how to find and how to enter. Private parking outside. Very well appointed kitchen area and lovely touches of tea, coffee, milk etc. Tastefully furnished and very comfortable. Extremely clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to other travellers

Wow, where do I start. The apartment was perfect for my mum, our little dog and I. When we arrived, it was really easy to get the keys. The location is perfect just a 1 minute walk to the local beach. Perfect location for jumping in the car and exploring local areas. The apartment itself was very clean, lots of room and great facilities, milk and tea and coffee provided which was very kind of the hosts. The double bed was very comfy. Can't wait to come back and book in again.

Wonderful location! Peaceful with the most beautiful sea view. Apartment was lovely, clean, well equipped and had everything needed for a comfortable stay.
Perfectly situated to explore the Gower Peninsula. Pubs and cafés nearby serving fantastic food and drinks.
A truly special place. We will return to again.

It was our second visit to Culver House Hotel. The rooms are clean, kitchen has everything that you ever need plus complimentary milk and coffee ;0) Location by the beach is ideal for walking, our dog enjoyed particularly the morning walks. Local pub has great choices of food and atmosphere. Thank you to Mark and Sue for our warm welcome, and we will see you again soon.

I really can’t fault this place on any level.

The first thing to say is that it’s not a hotel in the traditional sense so don’t expect reception, bar etc. However it’s in easy walking distance of 2 good pubs and the owners are just a phone call away (and live next door).

Excellent position, right on the beach and perfectly positioned as a starting point for a number of good walks.

This is perhaps the cleanest accommodation I have ever stayed in. It really was spotless.

Hosts were friendly and helpful. Facilities were excellent. They had not only provided the basics but had made a lot of effort to anticipate customer needs. Plenty of fresh coffee, milk, all toiletries and even a torch on the apartment keyring which came in really handy when walking to and from the pub.

Beds were very comfortable and the heating was always available. We were here in high winds in November and had no issues staying warm.

Kitchen had everything we needed and there was plenty of cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils.

In all we had an excellent stay here and would definitely recommend it.

Fabulous location and lovely cosy apartment with plenty of space. Nice outside seats to enjoy the peace, comfy bed and everything you need for a stay including Smart TV for the colder evenings! Always a beautiful place to stay thank you!

Just stayed again with my girls and two dogs. It’s utterly amazing. Self contained apt in the hotel. Clean. Full kitchen. Right on the dunes. I never want to leave and would highly recommend.

Great communication from owners and easy entry. Apartment was well equipped, clean and suited our family of 4 needs perfectly for long weekend. As per photos view from living area and balcony is great and easy walk to beach or amenities in village. Great coastal walk path right on doorstep

Absolutely amazing. Came with the family and really enjoyed. Very clean and comfortable, dog friendly, right on the beach ⛱ so nice we don't want to go home. We saw the Milky way from the balcony. Stunning. We will be coming again soon.

THIS IS NOT A REFLECTION ON CULVER HOUSE.

No shops open. Found it really hard to find supply's in January, on a Saturday relying on public transport. I think the village needs to cater for winter travelling. We know to come more prepared next time.

It was so lovely being right on the beach in a quiet little village 100 yards from a pub. Plenty of space for the two of us and a nice comfortable bed. Two big TVs, easy to park and plenty of places to walk. You're also just 10 mins drive from Rhossili beach.

Fantastic accommodation! Host met us in the afternoon to show us around the suite and gave us some tips on walks etc... very spacious Suite 7 with all the amenities you would expect from a hotel plus extras... A clean well equipped kitchenette for breakfast and a lovely little living area with a TV which was great (watched a lot due to Storm Dennis deciding to descend all weekend!) Excellent location to the beach and views from the balcony door were amazing! Only constructive feedback is that the bathroom could do with a little updating to the tiling and grout but rest of the stay was fantastic. Our hosts even gave us traffic updates about getting home etc due to floods and trees down.... Will be back very soon and hopefully have some better weather!

Met at the door on arrival by Angie, with lots of Covid safety measures in place, never once felt any risk. The whole place is clean and comfortable (the bed is the most comfortable ever!) and staff always on call. Loved the fact they are dog friendly and our 2 enjoyed running around in the small front garden, meeting people. I never felt like they were a nuisance. The house is stunning and well kept and the views from the upper apartment windows are amazing, looking over the sea. Being right next to the beach is fantastic, amazing location. Mark! All I can say is we will be back, soon!

Excellent accommodation. Clean, comfortable, gorgeous view over the sand dunes and sea. Superb communication with owners.

We have just had a brilliant 3 night stay at Culvar house in suite 6. The suite was spotlessly clean with beautiful views of the dunes and sea. The suite was spacious with 2 lovely balconies, was well equiped and had thoughtful extras such as hand soapmilk in fridge and tissues. The apartments are just a stones throw from a fantastic pub chip shop and super little coffee and cake shop. Thete are 2 shops on nearby caravan parks for buying basic goods and a small supermarket selling lovely bacon and sausae. Weloved our stay and it really is in a superb position for explring the beautiful Gower.

Room was great. Very clean, tidy - had a great view from the balcony. Calm and quiet, good for couples. Owner was lovely. Good location.

Beautiful location right on the beach. Owners very helpful without being intrusive. Fish and chips and pub 5minutes away. Just a very relaxing lovely place to stay.

The fifth time we've stayed at Culver House and excellent as always. Well equipped and spotlessly clean. The only slight negative was lack of access to the formerly available washing machine.

Nice place to spend a few days. Culver house hotel is an apartment hotel so it does not offer meals or other services. We were staying in apartment one which has a bedroom with double bedroom, kitchen sitting room and bathroom.
We were shown around on arrival, many items supplied such as coffee ( filter and instant) and tea. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. There is a sofa in from of the large flat screen TV.
Plenty of cafes for breakfast very close. Superb pub with good beer and inexpensive food (the ship) nearby and a fantastic restaurant (the smugglers haunt) also close.
This apartment has no view but has a small garden out front facing towards the dunes for an evening glass of wine.
The coastal footpath runs a few steps away and lovely views from the top of the dunes equally close. Easy, free parking. Great place for a holiday.
