Best breakfast so far on a 5 week campervan tour around the UK. Best sausages we have had. 2 full English breakfasts, 1extra sausage, 2 coffees, 1 tea £29.75

This is really amazing! I came here to enjoy the cake an hour before work. Bakewell cake is very suitable for me as a sweet food lover. The clerks are very warm-hearted. I like it very much. I hope you can come here before going to work to enjoy a quiet breakfast time.

Today was a miserable one in Castleton.I stumbled through the door of Tillys Tearooms to a warm welcome. My mission was to get my coffee fix and get out of my home on wheels for a while. Having been in the catering industry myself I instantly recognised the high calibre of the staff and I immediately fell into conversation with the very articulate and jovial owner. It is always a pleasure to meet like minded people.
The establishment has a really calm and positive feel, not least because of the large windows that offers not only light but a connection to the street outside. In fact its one of those places that gives you a lift and raises your vibration. There is an extensive menu and I would thoroughly recommend Tillys to most visitors to the village.

I had a full breakfast but had to pay £1 extra to have a) my eggs a different way, b) an extra egg and c) black pudding. Would be better to have a free choice of how to have your eggs & then a choice of large or small breakfast instead of having add ons. Lovely food though.

Delicious full English breakfast for my wife and veggie breakfast for me (plus a few dog treats for our miniature schnauzer Shelby). Perfect place to enjoy breakfast while it rained outside. Recommended!!

Brilliant breakfast after walking down from Mam Tor. Served promptly, and food arrived quickly.
Great local places as art on the walls, most impressive, is the Ladybower backdrop!
All in all, it's a fantastic place x

It was my second visit here, I was very happy with the service. I came back for the cream tea and was not disappointed. Scones were nice and warm, the jam and clotted cream were perfect.

I'd definitely visit again.

Really great experience! They were kind enough to hold a table for us while we popped to the info centre as well. The staff were lovely and the food was delicious - I tried their hot chocolate and jam and cream scone. It was a generous portion and very tasty. I'd highly recommend a visit :)

I tried Tilly's when it opened according to Google and waited 5/10 mins after but for some reason they opened late and didn't mention why. However I returned again later and was happy with my visit. Good quality food at reasonable prices. Very tasty and the staff were extremely friendly. Bathroom was very clean too.
Would return in the future, but hopefully the times are accurate going forward!

Lovely, hearty full English before heading home after a weekend in the Peaks. Super friendly staff even at 9am on a Monday morning! Breakfast potatoes were 🤌delicious. Decent coffee and good value for money!

Comfortable seating, nice atmosphere and decked out in Halloween decorations.

Impressed to see some gluten and dairy free options on the daytime menu too.

😋 We loved the fact they serve full English breakfast all day long! The potatoes were so tasty. Generous portion and you can choose from 3 different toasted bread.

🐟The fish and chips were one of the best we ever had! Super light, non-alcohol batter, the mushy peas had a perfect consistency, the chips were perfectly fried and the large portion is a great option to share with kids.

Lovely little cafe!
We camped not too far away, and found this place open on a Sunday morning.

Ever so lovely and welcoming staff, who we're very accommodating to my awkward take out order.
They were rushed off their feet, but didn't slack on their service.
Food is amazing too.. was definitely cooked with some love.
Now fueled and ready for our walk.

Beautiful full English breakfast and coffee! Very high quality food. Absolutely loved the breakfast potatoes (something I'd never had before). Warm and friendly staff. Would highly recommend :)

We had a nice breakfast here. Great service and reasonably priced. The staff were brilliant, and were accommodating for our toddler. Highly recommended.

Lovely dog friendly cafe on a grey January afternoon.

19.5.22 @ 09.00 . Always come to Tilly's whenever we're in castleton for the best latte coffee I've ever had And today was no exception . Absolutely beautiful coffee and friendly staff . I always sit upstairs as it's peaceful and I can sit with our 2 doggies without disturbing anyone . 5* 🙂👍

Surprisingly welcoming and comfortable tea rooms in centre of Castleton. Excellent staff.
We enjoyed very large flat white quality coffees and even larger blueberry muffin at the end of our morning hike!
Really pleasant decor, furnishings and toilet.

Lovely little stop off whilst out on the motorbikes.

Friendly & Efficient service, really good cappuccino and lovely food all reasonably priced.

Menu covers a wide range to chose from such as a full English breakfast, sandwiches, hot toasties, jacket potatoes, steak and ale pies to afternoon teas plus much more.
Menu also caters for children's meals and all dietary requirements also.

Tillys clean, nicely decorated with up to date furnishings and being managed in a covid friendly manner.

Would definately recommend and visit again.

This tearooms is the jewel of Castleton! The breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had! Very quick service and extremely friendly staff. Thank you!

Popped in for some coffee and cake. First time in the town for us. Was seated even though it was approaching closing time. Service was prompt. Nice little english tea house. would recommend.
