NWSLC - Wigston Campus

I deleted my last review and im now going to write my final year review:

This college is absolutely amazing, I had so much support here and gained so much confidence. There's so much to do around here and its so historic.

The Media department are so fantastic and they have really given me the confidence to go out there and achieve my goals and ill never forget a single moment of this place.

I'll always remeber everything i did here and everything i achieved and i met so many amazing friends and i couldn't thank this college so much for the incredible support they have given me in order to achieve my dream university degree and im so so happy that after being bullied at school and being told by several people im not capable of achieving a level 2 and level 3 course well, you thought wrong because this college allowed me to get my grades and finally study a university degree.

The last 4 years here has been amazing and ill never forget you all thank you so much for everything

Excellent College,Everyone So Helpful - Especially If You Are Lost & Trying To Find Your Room For Lessons,Show You In The Right Direction,Great Facilities From A Multi Gym To A Cafe,A Really Relax,But At The Same Time Atmosphere - Constantly Busy With Various Classes Going On - Suitable For All Needs & Levels,Great Place To Level.

Popped in today to find preparations for students returning well under way. The place is gleaming thanks to the hard work of the cleaning staff. Premises officers have done an amazing job marking out 2 metre distances and ensuring classrooms only accommodate enough students so everyone is safe. Lots of new non-touch hand sanitisers supplementing the existing ones too. A super job from everyone involved.

As an adult learner I was initially worried but I needn't have been. The tutors in particularly Sharon evans and Louise Khan have been incredibly supportive and knowledgeable in their subjects. Both tutors are a credit to the college. The library boasts an array of reading material with access to a wide range of both academic and fiction books. The college has great facilities with an abundance of computers readily available for student use. The cafeteria and on site Costa coffee is a great addition. I would highly recommend this campus.

The level 3 Media team at South Leicestershire College are absolutely fantastic and go beyond just caring for your education. Harvey, Ann, Sue, Amy and others are brilliant tutors who inspire kids and I’d do anything to go back and do another two years all over again.

My daughters doing a two year course and we have found the college to be good academically frirndly staff and my daughter loves her group and doing very well i give 5 *** and would highly recommend

Good college with best supportive teaching and learning staff. Supporting all learners to gain confidence back so they can progress for higher education and best carrier options in the life.

I've been at the college for over 7 years studying 4 different courses! Nothing but supportive staff and a pleasant working environment! Looking forward to studying my 5th course!

it is a great College for students to commit to great studying, and great support from teachers, then eventually after sometime, you can then go on to work full time, or go to UNI, staff really friendly, love this College.

It was really fantastic because the staff members are very friendly, got to know some new good people and hopefully when Covid 19 is gone I can go in the lounge etc.

When you go to McDonalds keep the receipt and follow the link online. You get a big mac and medium chips for 1.99. Also shout out Steve.

My experience has always been a positive on. Best college I've ever been to. And an amazing support team.

WONDERFUL ATMOSPHERE. FRIENDLY STAFF AND TUTORS. IF YOU ARE STUGGLING WITH YOUR HOME THEY ARE ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP YOU. AND ARE VERY NON JUDGEMENTAL VERY INSPIRING

Considering its my college I give it a 5 stars

I've been here for 5 years and i haven't regretted coming here.
