Went to see show by pub nice pub to have a drink while waiting for show too start couldn't get a cab so walked back to spennymoor town

Went to see a Status Quo tribute band with 8 friends had a great night and a smashing little pub with great selection of beers.

Lovely landlord and landlady / Superb live music / Friendly staff and locals / Great selection of real ales / Highly recommended.

Lovely pub grub, friendly staff am locals, old school boozer very cosy and even has live entertainment👌

Great pub, great ales and friendly atmosphere. Played a great gig here with my band Turtle Z's in front of a wonderful audience. We were made to feel very welcome and it was an absolute pleasure to play there. 2 more gigs to play there this year and really looking forward to them. I'll definitely be back to try a few more beers in the meantime and try and catch a band or two. Great pub highly recommended.

Called in for lunch, very impressed.
Haven't been in the pub for a couple of years, been totally redesigned, very much for the better.
Had a nice lunch & a lovely beer.

Went down on the 17th June to watch a rock tribute band, great atmosphere great beer, good crowd who all enjoyed the night, great pub definitely be back soon.

Great little pub. Friendly welcome staff with regular live music/bands. Also a decent place to catch the live PL football games. Will be visiting again very soon!!

Good atmosphere,fine selection of cask beers, ham and pease pudding sandwich was delish.
