Lovely little Italian restaurant with a lovey menu with food to suit all tastes. Had some great specials on when we went too, staff were friendly and attentive and made you feel welcome. Highly recommend it. Has some outside seating as well which would be nice however the weather wasn’t quite good enough for us! Hope to go back!

Lovely food, chef/server took great care of us; the ravioli starter was sublime along with the rest of the set menu served was a delight. A nice break from the "pub grub" widely served within woodstock. Will be coming back with the family to support this local independent Italian.

1st time here although I've lived in the area for years. The food was amazing, delicious and great value. Owner is a fantastic guy and great chef, will now be a regular. Couldn't recommend highly enough

Absolutely one of the top restaurants in Oxfordshire. Brilliant service, lovely waiters and an incredibly friendly chef.
The food was outstanding, we sat out-side while the sky started to dim and it was like being in a romantic street in Italy. Absolutely, a must to go to la galleria. Just beautiful.

A great experience. We had a delicious meal last evening. In particular, pork medallions in a ginger , honey and chilli sauce and the duck. The vegetables were also very well cooked.
Thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

Very enjoyable, and for the price - just fantastic. The 4 of us had a good mixture of the menu. Maybe not a lot of choice for dessert but the tiramisu was very good.

What a find! This is a wonderful Italian restaurant using the freshest local ingredients. The food was absolutely delicious and served promptly and courteously. This place has to be a must if you are coming to Woodstock. Lucio, the owner, is a fountain of local knowledge having established the restaurant many years ago. He made time chat to us and made us feel so welcome. Do try the filet beef medallions with cream and mushrooms- melt in the mouth! My wife had the lemon chicken which she loved.

Loved this place - we had a couple of tables outside; it is a great location between the main streets - catching both sunshine and shade as the sun moves around.
Good value, really welcoming, efficient and pleasant staff, enjoyable authentic Italian food and drink with plenty of time as not feeling at all rushed. Would go back. Would like to try on winter evening when it's cold out as the interior looks perfect for a cosy and lovely Italian meal.

Perhaps the best Italian restaurant I have visited. The menu has a wide choice of excellent food and the staff were welcoming and kind. The malloreddus alla campidanese which I had as a starter was exquisite, for mains I had the sea bass which tasted lovely. The hand crafted French fries were an excellent addition to the meal. 5 star food and service, would definitely return.

A great recommendation. Great food. Great service. Great location. I had the scallops to start and the duck breast which was a special for the evening. My friend also has the scallops and the rack of lamb. All dishes cooked to perfection. I highly recommend going here and I will me back.

My goodness how did we not find this fabulous place before. What a great menu, we had difficulty in deciding, it was all delicious and we will definitely be back.
Btw, this is real Italian food, my husband is Italian and is still raving about the meal.

We decided to have lunch at La Galleria as we are looking for a post-wedding venue. Not only was the food delicious (beautiful fillet of sea bream), but the service was exemplary. Lucio and his team are exactly who we want to look after us on our wedding day. Grazie mille!

Came across this by chance. Had a 3 course lunch meal for just under £15. It was excellent from start to finish. I has lasagne for my main which came with potatoes and vegatables!! followed by a large piece of ginger cheesecake delicious. The portion sizes were very generous. Highly recommended

Over the last 20 years, every time we visit La Galleria we always have the best service and meal, with polite staff, the food is amazing, the lunch "3 course menu" is particularly good value and the evening menu is full of variety and flavour, really it's just a fantastic restaurant, it hasn't changed very much in all this time, except it's menu variety, which is always great.
La Galleria is traditional, it's cosy, prestine and a real joy to visit and dine at. Even during this covid time, the staff were very careful with following the guidelines and we had a thoroughly enjoyable meal 😁

Friendly and attentive service. Great recommendations from the evening specials of Dover Sole and Rump Steak with blue cheese sauce. Very acceptable house red and white. Highly recommended.

Has a fabulous lunch at La Galleria. Enjoyed so much we have booked for an evening meal. Delicious food, wonderful flavours. Great service.
