Restaurant- fantastic dining experience from the food to the service. We were very hungry and didn’t have time to take photos of the main courses and divine puddings. Family run pub. Great team work and very attentive. The food was delicious.

I wish Google can distinguish the restaurant from the hotel within this place. This recites for the restaurant:
Nicely decorated place with good food, particularly middle eastern shareable plate with excellent hummus, falafels and olives. Their hearty pizza had dense dough and fresh ingredients that was a good combination. Nice place to hang for lunch in a cute little town that is Woodstock.

Excellent service from start to finish. I stayed with my dog here and they treated him like he was royalty. They adored him. The staff on the evening for dinner were so accommodating, they got him a dogs bed to sleep in which he accepted straight away. The rooms were beautiful & so clean. The bed was comfy with lots of extra pillows which isn’t usually the case in hotels/B&B’s etc. the outside seating area was lovely & tidy.
Then for breakfast the two ladies were great, they got him some sausages for the dog to have whilst i ate. They seemed genuinely interested in knowing about him. It was lovely. They were both happy women who made you feel really comfortable. I’m usually a little anxious when on my own but the way they were just made me feel at ease. I sadly didn’t get their names. Both had short hair, older ladies wearing grey & working the morning of this review! I hope this helps.
Lots of credit to the young staff and I think who was the manager maybe? They were great! I have told my friends about this place and as we do the canine athletics in Lyneham we will be coming again!

Staying at the Blenheim Lodges, this was ideal walking distance! Great food, friendly staff and an old style game on the table was a really nice touch

First day of 4 and what a start. King room no 6 on first floor is spotless, walk in wardrobe, bathroom as clean as an operating theatre with shower for 2 and loads of off-street free parking. Had great meal and finished with the Yorkshire staple of apple crumble in a gallon of custard 🍮....heaven

We booked a table for dinner here, after visiting nearby Blenheim palace. Situated in a beautiful little town with ample parking.
A family run venue. The atmosphere & service was brilliant, staff are friendly & attentive. The menu had a good variety of hearty, homemade, pub meals. Food was of great quality & really tasty. We had the steak & kidney suet pudding, which was divine!
We then moved from the dining area & sat by the open log fire until closing & entertained ourselves with the Trivial pursuit cards on the tables... A great idea! A cozy, relaxed & enjoyable evening. We intend to return (definite food envy when seeing other meals being served ... It all looked so good!)

Loveliest meal out I've had. Staff are all friendly and chatty. Great meal and local ales. Came in with the dog after a walk round the palace and we're offered a dog bed, treats and a dog bowl. Definitely be back again.

Fantastic food options for me (gluten and dairy intolerant). What a lovely atmosphere, good music at just the right volume to allow easy conversation and just the right level of attention from the staff.
The room was set out well and clean and no stinginess with the tea and coffee supplies.
Breakfast was delicious and it was lovely to hear the staff happily singing away in the kitchen.

Great little place for food and drinks. At our first visit, we had their homemade pies, which was amazing! Definitely recommend it.
The second time, we placed an order for their pizzas and weren't disappointed either. Pizza bases were light and fluffy, not doughy at all. All had amazing flavours.
The team at Punchbowl were very helpful and provided a great service. Can't wait to come back again soon!

Fantastic family run pub with exceptional service, food and atmosphere!
The staff here are so warm and welcoming and extremely good at their jobs, always so friendly and helpful. Their service blew me away and a special thanks to Ben and Ellie for making our experience here so incredible!
The food is delicious, would highly recommend the home made chocolate brownie, made by Ellie herself! Absolutely mouth watering!
