Great improvement with the new ownership.

Food is home made, portions are huge and well priced. The veggie burger in particular has a lot to flavour.

And best of all… real ale is back!

Lovely pub. This was my 1st visit. Very small range of ciders so forced to drink what I don't like.

The food is absolutely outstanding! The home made stake and ale pie is to die for. The fireplace is lovely. We loved our visits and definitely will return.
Thank you for the Team for their hard work ❤

Went in at lunchtime today, had a cheese burger and it was the best burger I’ve had in a long time! Huge burger, chips, onion rings, coleslaw & salad. Tasted great, amazing value, nice pub and friendly bar staff. Keep up the good work!

Had the pleasure of a home cooked meal and the price was no more expensive than going in the cafe. Going to be a regular visitor

We had a lovely Covid secure meal this evening. Food freshly prepared as always and we were well looked after by attentive staff. The pub has sorted out it's processes for managing customers in this strange time but we couldn't fault it. Fajitas were excellent and the cannelloni was polished off without complaint.

Lovely friendly pub and nicest one in March. Very accomodating and covid secure and felt safe the whole time we were there. Lovely garden areas and a great ordering system at the table. Well worth a visit and we are going back on bank holiday weekend!

I don't usually like pub food but it was really nice. Chips where good. Better than your normal from a pub. I had panini tuna cheese. Plenty of filling. Husband had chilli. Nice tender meat. Gran had tartlet. She said Tasty. Nice chicken in the chunky kid nuggets and a good kids burger. Staff friendly and nothing was to much bother. Average price per meal £8

A welcome surprise on Sunday, as there was a live musical duet. Popular classics and anthems performed as one played the guitar and the other sang.
