This wonderful restored station building has a wealth of memorabilia from times past, and is a truly fascinating place to visit to enjoy a cup of tea, or coffee, and a light meal or sandwich. The whole place is crammed with superb signage, and lots of other items from old breweries, railways, bus companies, and all manner of quirky things from years gone by. Most of it comes from the local, or West Yorkshire area.
The interior is absoIutely spotless, and especially the lavatory, which is a pleasure to use. Too often now, many establishments which serve food, have a less than hygienic loo. It is always very reassuring to find one which is spick and span, and that is certainly the case here. Top marks to them for this.
lf you are interested in local history, or old railways, then you will find this establishment absolutely fascinating.
They have allsorts of items on sale too, like second hand books and bric a brac, all set out on tables.
All in all, this place is certainly worth a visit. I have been numerous times, and have always received a warm welcome from the owners.
Highly recommended.
Do check opening times though before visiting.

Really nice place good and friendly you can enjoy a choice of real ales and even have a pie. Whilst drinking your pint there are so many items of memrobelia to look at and most of all it's dig friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

The barman was lovely and couldn't help enough. He helped recommend cheaper tickets and was also recommending places to visit when in Manchester. It was lovely to have service with a smile and friendly chit chat.

I've not eaten here, but the JRR offers the most civilised break in a railway journey. A carefully selected range of beers and ciders, but also soft drinks and snacks. Nothing of the ordinary about the place at all. Other reviewers have commented on the sparse interior: I can say that the walls are now full of Sowerby Bridge-related ephemera; but more importantly the place has a feel like no other bar, pub or station. So, cast your views of coffee shops or bars aside and see this one-of-a-kind. My tip: ask the barman (normally Chris) what he recommends to drink: sounds obvious but with the ever-changing options he might just tempt you with something new!

Real ale, really good food and trainspotting, all in the unique setting of an old, repurposed railway building, decorated accordingly with lots of railwayana. What's not to love? 😉 Whether you want a breakfast bacon butty or a leisurely lunch, watching the trains go by, the Jubilee is a cosy place to be.
