The Larder Delicatessen at Sowerby Bridge

We visit regularly but we came Sunday for lunch, great atmosphere, service with a smile and chat. Very accommodating with our baby & allergies. The crispy chicken & bacon wrap is a must try!

Visited The Larder once again, and as per usual we weren’t disappointed.
My better other half knew exactly what she wanted, Cajun Beef sandwich, she says “it’s to die for”. However, Mr indecisive couldn't make his mind up for love nor money as the menu and specials were just all so tempting.
The lady serving us was assisting in my choice but then I had a cunning idea. “How about you just make me something special, you know what I'm deliberating about”.
So, off she went with a grin on her face and came back a short while later with a sandwich which was out of this world. 10/10.
The coffee is one of the best around, if not the best and the service was spot on.
Thankyou to all The Larder staff, we will be back.

Lovely experience. We popped in for afternoon tea and cake and gorgeous hot chocolate. ..yummy!

Had an amazing meat and cheese platter a few weeks ago for a girly weekend. It was lovely! Will definitely be ordering again and highly recommend.

We have been twice now, just for a take out sandwich and a Scotch egg and everything has been beautiful, we will definitely be going back for a sit in breakfast or lunch as all the food looks yummy, the staff are lovely too.

Lovely brunch - avocado, poached eggs, sundried tomatoes on sour dough, best ever! Cappuccino was great too. Friendly and enthusiastic staff. Highly recommended!

Just had a coronation chicken sandwich and it was unbelievable. I work all over the country so visit loads of different sandwich shops, I definitely know a good sandwich when I see one, this is up there with the best.
Good job I live miles away or I would spend a fortune in this place.

The food is always amazing, fresh delivered bread and homemade cakes are to die for. I love the coffee too, it's my go to breakfast / brunch place.

Lovely little place. Food and menu is great. Looks inviting. Feels inviting. Spotlessly clean. Food presentation is exceptional and it tastes great.

Really nice sandwiches and the staff were really friendly.

Very friendly and very very helpful place that serves great food. Service is a little slow when busy so plan for that rather than expect speed. It's a busy small place but worth it.
Vocally talk about allergy too, since much of the breakfasts are cooked in butter, which is great unless you have a reaction.

The owners and managers are really friendly and helpful though so highly recommended.

Stumbled upon this place while visiting friends. We has poached eggs with feta and a sandwich. Was fresh and different, so many options plus great coffee. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu. Vegetarian and vegan options including milks

Lovely little place, can get busy on a weekend, and great for a weekday lunch break.
I always get the specials and never been disappointed. The scotch eggs are unreasonably delicious too.

Nothing I don't like.

We each had the large breakfast and a tea. The food was top quality and simply the best breakfast we have had anywhere.The staff/service was great in such a busy and compact shop which is also dog friendly, although we would't recommend taking even an English Bull Terrier sized dog like ours in there.The bill was £26.20 on 21/1/23 not cheap we know but were definately going back next time we are in Sowerby Bridge. highly recommended.

My son raves about their sandwiches so I tried Cajun Beef on ciabatta and also on tea cake. Fantastic. Hot cajun beef, rocket and tomato salad, sweet chili and mayo. We arrived just before they closed but they still served it up without fuss. That's service for you. Next time, I'm buying.
