The Turks Head

We didn't eat here, as we were just walking through but what a great find! We only live in Halifax and we had never been to the Turks Head before and thought we would pop in for a couple of beers, we both absolutely loved it, great staff, good beers and a very relaxed atmosphere, great prices and dog friendly too! What's not to like. We will certainly be going back 🍻👍

Happened upon this gem just by chance when visiting the area.

If I lived here it would be my regular pub.

Brilliant pub. Called in because my train was cancelled. Proper local pub that makes you feel welcome. Lovely staff, excellent beers, friendly locals. If I lived near by I'd be a regular.

Went to see Tony Austin perform at a birthday party. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend 👌 👍

Lovely local pub with riverside views and masses of original art on the walls. All ages mixing and enjoying music and chatter. Highly recommended.

Love this place. Intact it's our local. Great jukebox and staff. Great selection of hand pulled ales. Has a lovely beer garden for summer. A traditional pub.

Great little pub with a large beer garden overlooking the River. Really friendly staff. Craft ales on draft. Heated outdoor seating and dogs welcome inside and out.

Great little pub. Everything is good about this place.The new landlady is talkative and friendly and the barmaid had the happiest of faces. I strongly recommend this place - but save a seat for me.

Really friendly staff, always there for info and help, really friendly locals always up for a conversation about anything. Happy hour till 7pm, 2 pints of foster in happy hour £4.80!

Cozy little pub, great atmosphere, with some retro drinks, plus other great drinks, cute dogs and decent size outdoor area.

Brilliant place ! Excellent selection of alcohols and especially my favorite cider company. The outdoor area is exceptional. Very nice to see the little dog again too !

What a fantastic pub on the riverside, I visited whilst waiting for the train back home as it is very close, I really recommend
