It is one of the best village pubs, including restaurants near to Hereford. Best place for a small group's party. They have a variety of desserts, too. Ginger flavourful ice cream is awesome. Spacious parking available. The restaurant design is attractive.

The best carvery as always. Desserts are as good. Been dining here 2 decades and never disappoints me.

Absolutely fabulous place next to the River Wye whether for a light lunch, full carvery or special function. Vegan & vegetarian options available too. We’ve done the lot over the years. The quality of food is excellent, always a nice atmosphere and the service very friendly and professional. Special mention to Catherine, the boss-lady, who went the extra mile to make our recent function special. Thank you.

Great food, especially the carvery which is available every day. Good service, friendly staff. Would happily recommend it but suspect it would be very busy at the weekends.

Beautiful pub inside, we always go for the carvery which is one of the best in Hereford. A good range of Weston ciders as well.

We were supposed to have a big family meal at the Bunch of Carrots - couldn't make it due to a couple of people not being well, but they did us 9 x carvery takeaways! Lovely food, fantastic staff who even offered to do gluten free yorkshires and veg for our gluten free guest. Just brilliant. Thank you so much.

Lovely carvery, well cooked and tasty, very friendly staff and a great pub, plenty of parking would recommend to anyone, a bit to far for me unfortunately but spent a nice day out from Liverpool with family, next time I'm down I will be going back.

Nice riverside pub with possibly the best carvery in Herefordshire. Veg that goes with it is all beautifully cooked and that includes the delicious roast potatoes which often let a carvery down. Very good value for the quality of food .Friendly and helpful staff.Definitely a regular for us.

Came for the carvery with my dad and WOW. It was excellent. My plate was piled so high but I devoured it all! Really delicious. My father is in a wheelchair and they were very accommodating too. Overall excellent experience

No been for a long time, great service, staff very helpful for my wife's allergy. Carvery was very good, plenty of choice. And a great place especially in the summer

Visited with a party of 11 and were warmly welcomed by the staff. The starters were delightful, and the carvery exceeded expectations with its generous portions of fresh, perfectly cooked veggies and delicious meat. A delightful experience overall!

We had the Sunday Carvery and it was delicious.
I am an extremely picky eater and I had the carvery with the pork and turkey. The staff were super helpful and understanding and I had a lovely meal with my mum and her partner after finishing my first year at university.

The building itself is lovely too! It feels homey and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. Will be coming again!

Excellent customer service from the start. Good sized carpark and in a lovely setting. Arrived without booking and were seated straight away with a pint of Butty Bach (new to me but now one of my favs). Atmosphere was great for dinning and the building is that perfect clean, low lit, old classic pub. Both my dad and I went for the carvery and the food was excellent. The meats were cooked beautifully (even the turkey, which I would usually avoid, was juicy and tasty). There is an excellent selection of veg and sides which again were fresh and as they should be. There are only a few puddings but they all look delicious and change daily, I had a salted caramel panacotta which was lovely. As we were visiting Hereford on family business and the meal had gone so well, we returned the next night with friends and were not disappointed. Good price too. Although we didn't book, we were 2 people in mid week, I imagine booking would be wise on weekends or for groups and occasions. Very good, thank you to everyone there.

Had the most fantastic meal here recently. Booked a table with the full intention of having the carvery but after looking at the menu decided on the souffle followed by the steak and ale pie, both courses were outstanding! Staff are friendly and efficient, even though it was busy we didn't have to wait long inbetween courses. Dog friendly inside and some of the outside areas (the play area is no dogs)Quirky and characterful decor. Will visit again when back in the area!

I must admit the service and food was second to none very friendly and welcoming 🙏 I chose the carvery and everything was perfect from vegetables to meat. Good selection of beer's and ciders

We came here on a Sunday without a reservation and they were just able to squeeze us in! Had a vegan tart that was lovely, definitely tasted homemade not just a store bought one!

The place was rammed, which speaks volumes. Good food served with charm. The only slight niggle? If you've got a big sign saying "Real Ale" as feature, perhaps a better choice than the same three beers sold by every other pub in the area would be nice.
