Great pub hidden away down an alley, dog friendly pub/restaurant with a great menu with everything from fresh Pizza, Fresh Mussels to Salads and Snacks. Little wait as everything is made fresh but staff looked after us with drinks and lollies for the kids! Our server Sophie was gr8!

We visited here today with our chocolate Labrador, Hershey. We will definitely be returning! The owners of the pub were incredibly friendly and so welcoming! It's an extremely dog friendly pub although we sat in the garden as it was sunny!
We ordered a fish goujon baguette and two small plates of teriyaki pork belly and beef satay skewers. All the food was absolutely lovely and we can't wait to go back!
We also had an Aperol spritz and a beer and they were fab.
If you're in the area then we highly recommend!!!

Great carvery, one not to be missed. Was really nice and the guy serving it was friendly which is always a plus. Nice outdoor area and great selection of drinks

The food was amazing and the staff were really friendly and helpful. I had the beef ragu which was so good but I was so jealous of my partner's spread burger.

Brilliant roast, I had the chicken and my partner had the beef.
My two friends also had a pork belly roast each.

Spent a long time looking for a dog friendly pub/restaurant before we stumbled on the Spread Eagle. Our dog was the first to receive the excellent service as she was given a bowl of water as soon as we had been shown to our seats. The drinks and food was of very good quality, plenty of it and good value. The service by our waitress was also very good. We would highly recommend.

Awesome pub for food. Much improved on previous owners, great staff, always friendly and welcoming. The steak meal I've now had twice in two weeks was perfect, the Sunday roasts are amazing, we've had them as a family many many times, and they are always spot on.
This is the safest place I have found to visit during the pandemic. Clearly set out rules and one way system to keep everyone safe, following the government's guidelines, which a lot of other establishments aren't doing. Overall a great pub/eatery. Great lunch today, one of party is gluten and dairy free, but Sophie and Craig came up trumps. Lovely venue just by the cathedral, got to be worth a visit of you're in Hereford. 5*

Wow, had the bottomless brunch on Saturday evening. Food was impeccable, choice of drinks superb but the service was out of this world. Seb you made our evening and kept us topped up with cocktails and Prosecco for the full 90 minutes. Thank you for all your hard work. We will definitely be returning

I never leave reviews...but I feel that I would like to commend this pub for it's service and quality of food. The bar staff were lovely and friendly...the burgers were good homemade burgers, chips were fresh, kids food was superb and all at a good price. As far as I'm concerned, this place is a hidden gem and if you like good pub food and a pint then you can't go wrong eating here.

Service was great and the steak with mushroom source was amazing also mixed berry on tap

Called in for lunch and ordered the Ham, Egg & Chips and Fish & Chips. Both meals were very well cooked (pub Fish & Chips can be a bit hit & miss) and we left two empty plates. All washed down with some fine cask ale. Very pleasant service. Recommended.

Absolutely lovely place to eat. We had exceptional service and the staff were so friendly, nothing was too much trouble.
We were so impressed with how all tables and chairs were cleaned thoroughly after use.

I went here with a friend to watch a local band play and have a few drink. Prompt service by friendly staff. Will definitely visit again.

Wonderful hosts, we happened to land on Tapas night (Thursday) and had about 10 dishes for 5 people that was ample. Breakfast was superb with locally sourced real meats. Will defininately return x
