B&Q Hereford

Went in early (7am) as we hate crowds, well people in general! Also wanted to peruse the laminate floor and buy a good value for money laminate. Unfortunately my wife was with me so we have a much more expensive laminate floor! Luckily though, B&Q have a 4 for 3 offer on the flooring. Chose a very nice floor! Staff very polite and helpful.

Been back again for a mirror to help my wife put contacts in. Excellent large mirror on stand with lighting on, usb power or battery. Excellent!

Needed some advice on what paint & primer to use since so asked Hayley. She was incredibly lovely as well as knowledgeable. Without her my bnq experience would have been worse, she needs a pay rise!!!

I am really impressed and happy with the customer service received today from Mr Alex in paint mixing service. He helped me a lot and explained everything regarding my necessities even though I approached him towards the shop closing time. I have seen a couple of people were also waiting behind me at that time and he was patiently managing each and everyone . Great attitude and really impressed.

Really impressed with customer service from bathroom team especially Charlotte who offered some really good advice and definitely went the extra mile to meet what was a challenging brief. The excellent customer service made me change my mind company and not order from Victoria plumb!

Saw a great design that my partner came back from an appointment with a bathroom design consultant Charlette - can't believe it when he said it was free, especially as some of her suggestions will really improve the finished result. Great to be able the see what the bathroom will look like! Would definitely recommend to friends when they need a bathroom!!!!

Required to find something, asked young lady, if they had in stock, she took me straight to item, very helpful and pleasant.

Considering the difficulties of trading at present I thought that they were doing very well. The staff were unfailingly polite and helpful. The store was well laid out with distance markers and information. I obtained what I required with ease. The shop looked well stocked. All in all a great experience.

Jordan in the kitchen department did a great job with a kitchen order via a remote appointment.
After installation I had quite a few items left over, it was very refreshing to be able to pick up the phone and actually talk to someone in person and explain the situation.
Jordan got right back on the case and arranged a collection, the drivers turned up exactly as arranged and I have now received a credit.

It was nice to not have to chase a company up post sale, I would definitely purchase from B&Q again

A great diy store, in my experience good buys to be had, but always check Screwfix too, as its a sister company and the prices can vary a lot both ways!! Do your homework! Staff always helpful and quite knowledgeable.

lock down in February 2021. Visited again for small essential DIY items. Couldn't spot my required item. Asked a passing staff member and was instructed to follow her. Pointed out my item and cheerfully left me. Staff friendliness has always been a feature. Well done B&Q Hereford

Fairly quiet, but then it is Tuesday! Antibacterial spray readily available to clean the handles of baskets or trolleys. Also hand gel. Fully stocked store with everything you need for gardening or DIY. Staff helpful and friendly.

Always clean and tidy, reasonable stock for a relatively small store. Timber and sheet variety is minimal, but that's as much to do with current restrictions as anything. I keep going back because it's still 10x as good as Wickes...
