Nice place to walk with the dog along the river. Some parts of the river have quite steep sides so caution is needed if you have a small dog or young children. If you go up the steps from the carpark you'll find a large field where the locals exercise their pooches. Everyone seems to 'pickup' after their dogs which is good to see. 👏 The car park which used to be free now is not unless you are parking for no more than 30 minutes, otherwise charges apply.

Free parking with loads of spaces. We parked here to do a walk up and around Tunstall Reservoir and back. It was a great walk but lots of the public footpaths crossed fields with cattle in. Just a heads up as a lot of people are a bit wary. I find if you give the cattle a wide berth it's not an issue. The walk was very muddy in places, not surprising considering all the rain we've had.

I love it here, has an amazing wild swimming spot just along the river, meadows, rope swings, fairy doors and trails for kids, stepping stones and woods. One of Wolsingham's finest gems. The walk branches into lots of other walks as well along the way.

Small, free, car park with the friendliest ducks I've ever seen! They came straight to us and our Border Collie when we got out of the car. Shame we didn't have any food but they looked well fed.

This is dog walk Central, at least 3 different alks from this spot. Nice and easy upstream to a little wood where kids have made a den and have a rope swing (I did test, but I am a big kid)
There is a memorial for a young person who died in the waters, Cold shock Is real, be careful around water!
Another walk takes you across a well walked field, into the church yard, and either into the village or back into the field again. The church has some lovely grotesques.
Back at the entrance-parking area of demesne Mill, there are 2 picnic tables which we put to good use. The ducks come to see what you have going spare, and if your lucky, you may hear the Kingfisher (we did) if your very lucky you may see it (mum did)

A lovely place to spend 15 minutes or all day, the place is what you make of it. I had a great time with my dogs.

What a wonderful experience to find a free car park to encourage visiting the area, lovely walk to do, little brook beside the car park. Friendly locals saying good morning, and although the town has suffered some closure of shops, still some good ones to view, a great little gift shop, a butchers, a baker's/pantry come grocer, a wonderful lady displayed some slate artwork on her window ledge, knock the door and purchase one. The charity shop staff great, ask for something in the store and they will tell if there X

A lovely little spot to park up next to the river, space for maybe 20 to 30 cars, with walking access into the village, however the paths are very narrow on the walk down into the village if you happen to be a wheelchair user or have a pushchair . There's a lovely café and a few shops to pop in . There are a few disabled parking bays in the village but you have to time it right.

Excellent for walking with an easy circular route. Great for dogs. Plenty of benches for those who need a gentler stroll. Lovely riverside views and even a stroll through a graveyard. Sometimes cows in one of the fields, friendly but be aware.

A very picturesque and tranquil spot, whether you're walking the dog, taking the air, or setting off on one of the many country walks that you can reach from here. Ample parking, with the odd picnic table available too.

Small picturesque car park. Whole large family of ducks in residence. You can start a local walk from this car park.

Its a very nice place and a good, safe and friendly area with beautiful surroundings.
Used by locals for various reasons like running, walking, dog walking and the obvious one of picnics.
It has a couple of public paths that go on from it and its free parking for all.
Very busy in nice weather days but isn't surprising.

Lovely walk alongside stream with free parking and easy access. Opportunity to do circular walk as well. Can walk up to church via sheep field and narrow enclosed path and on to Wolsingham centre or to park area with childrens play area.
