Trumpington Parish Extension

This old cemetery located just across from Waitrose offers a unique and contemplative experience. As soon as you pass through the old gate, there's an immediate sense of disconnection from the bustling world outside. The contrast between the liveliness of the road and the serene stillness of the cemetery is striking. Walking through on sunny days, you can truly appreciate the quiet beauty of the place, with sunlight filtering through the trees and casting gentle shadows over the aged tombstones, many of which bear names faded by time. It's a peaceful spot for reflection, especially during the day. I haven't visited in the rain or at night, but during the daylight, it's a surprisingly comforting place despite its proximity to the everyday hustle and bustle.
