Went for my anniversary the staff were great, and made some good recommendations. The croquettes were to die for..

They made us feel very special and welcome, and can’t wait to come back!

Interesting old pub dating back to 1380, making it the oldest building in the village. Nice selection of beers with plenty of seating inside and outside in the large garden. Good food selection and friendly staff. Expanded by incorporating old buildings on either side.

Lovely cozy pub with great food. Went for a Sunday roast and was not disappointed, and the black pudding Scotch egg was beautiful!

One of my favourite places to go to - it used to be owned by Heston Bluemental but recently taken over by another partner completely that he did business with. No big changes but the menus have changed and there are some new items and desserts.
I was there for the Christmas holiday offerings and opted for the yummy prawn cocktail - the accompanying bread and butter was so good!
My main course was Windsor Estate partridge, a small bird that doesn’t taste “gamely” at all, in fact it tastes a little like chicken and this was cooked to perfection and wrapped in bacon with the most delicious roast potatoes!
To finish, I opted for the mince pie and coffee, with a small piece of the homemade macadamia nut brittle.
Overall the food was yummy and Molly, our waitress was absolutely wonderful and made us feel welcome and appreciated - the perfect mix of service and personality!
I would recommend they look for a new coffee offering, it was nice but not strong enough for me but overall, I would always give this venue a 10/10 for everything.

Fantastic little find this was, a real old traditional style pub with extremely low ceilings, a truly fabulous atmosphere, we enjoyed a three course lunch, the Irish lady who looked after us was really good, fully explained the menu and recommended dishes for us.
Very enjoyable, we will return.

4.5 stars. Loved the old pub atmosphere and the service from our waiter (a guy from Italy) was great, he had a lot of helpful local recommendations. Most of the food was great but found the sticky toffee pudding a bit odd…

Posh pub food food extremely well! Stopped off for a spot of lunch. Ample car parking, lovely outdoor marquee area with access to the chefs cooking.
I’d just had dental surgery and had to choose accordingly so opted for the wild garlic soup with feta and croutons - it was Devine. I then ordered the beef Wellington and my goodness, what a generous portion; cooked to perfection.

Very cozy for Christmas, we’ve started going as a tradition. Great food (the juiciest turkey!), friendly staff and tastiest puds.

Was here for some drinks and dessert. No problem with drinks or dessert but survice can be more proactive(I think)

Making ordinary meals taste extraordinarily is an art, and the Crown has nailed it.

A very traditional pub, with extremely polite service and of course tasty food and a good wine catalogue. We went there with the kids and it was one of the rare occasions they also emptied their plates and enjoyed it as much as we did!

Definitely going back.

Nice pub in Bray. Have an outside beer garden at the back through a courtyard type thing. Recommend going outside when weather is nice. Food was good too... had snacks... Black pudding Scotch egg was delightful

Fantastic garden, very helpful and welcoming staff, food was lovely but the main was very small. Four of us ordered the same meal as it looked delicious, unfortunately mine was but portion was tiny and I left hungry even after cheese and crackers, although the others were a fair size.
Next time I'll try something different as what I had tasted so good.

Back to great form, excellent FOH & a relaxed atmosphere. Perfect prawn cocktail & a juicy, charred on a grill, medium rare steak. Baked cheesecake to finish, with a glass of blanc de blanc Nyetimber. Summer was lovely in the garden. Now autumn 22 back inside this historic pub, for rainy day escapes.

I have to say that I enjoyed every part of going here. The food was excellent, a good selection of beer and wine, the service was fast and pleasant.
If had to say a couple of negative things it would be that to get to the toilet you have to go outside due to it being an old building, and that you are paying a more for the quality of food. But both of these things are worth it in my opinion.

It’s Bray but it’s not Heston and it’s a very good posh pub menu in a modern marquee. Most people had either fish n chips or the burger, both were well rated. I had the lamb - was superb. Good for kids. Service was mixed, some good staff here and they were trying. Great value for Bray; not great value for anywhere else on the planet. But it is Bray. Recommended.

The Crown is a fantastic place where traditional pub dishes are done with outstanding quality. The service is excellent and the way in which they made enclosed the garden and provided space for guests to enjoy the meal while being safe is also great.
