Toby Carvery Stafferton Lodge

The menu is brilliant the staff are very welcoming and friendly from checking in to the lady waiting on us. I would like to say how helpful the waitress was I went with my daughter and 2 children 1 toddler and a baby. The lady went and filled my drink as I am disabled and was looking after the children why my daughter went to get the carvery. The lady was amazing she came over and asked what I was drinking and went and filled it for me. Such an amazing staff member. We have been a couple of times and will definitely be back. We also tried the takeaway service and again 10/10 . Highly recommend 5*****.

Great Toby this one, plenty of parking, lots of tables (always best to book anyway). The service was quick to the table to take the drinks and off we went to get our carvery, happy singing server sliced up some delicious turkey and lamb and helped ourselves to potatoes and veg. Very friendly staff and a great place to go.

Was very quiet when we went. Staff were lovely and engaging. Food was hot but could be a little fresher, price is reasonable. Toilets were clean.

We booked for a party of 5. We was sat on Table 31 and was served my Rihanna. She was so professional and absolutely perfect. She deserves a payrise. She was so polite at every moment and honestly a credit to your company! The food was literally perfect and most of all dessert ( syrup sponge ) was perfect and service on point. Would most definitely return and recommend to friends and family

I mean .... who wouldn't love this ? ❤❤❤ I couldn't move after finishing my portion, but 🤤 + 5 stars for free parking. That's more than rare these days.

Visited with a couple of work colleagues. Food is cheap and cheerful. A roast dinner of that size for under £10 is exceptional value. Drinks a little more than expensive. Staff lovely. Restaurant isn’t great inside. In need of a good clean and some paint

We visited midweek and it was surprisingly busy. The staff were attentive and the servicewasn't rushed or too slow. The roast is always great value and the spinach and mushroom pithivier was tasty and a good portion.

We've been here several times during the week and it's great value and reliable, you know what to expect once you've been the first time.

Definitely one of the better carveries in the vicinity.
Quality of the roast and sides is very good and the place is very clean, both of which aren't always a given at such places!
Set in a lovely location with plenty of parking and offers excellent value for money.

Gorgeous interior and great kitchen! The waiters are friendly and always ready to help. All in all, a great place for a romantic evening.

Absolutely massive portion for an affordable price, loved the experience and the vegetable seconds.

I visited this toby carvery yesterday afternoon ( 9th may, around 15:00/16:30pm) with my dad and my boyfriend. Our server was so so so so friendly, polite, welcoming and very attentive, (which was really refreshing to see these days when you go to eat out!) he made sure we were well looked after, and because of that it was such a pleasant nice vibe inside, unfortunately i cannot remember his name but he was the only server at the time.

The food was nice, there was a lot of selection, the only TINY downside is that you only got offered 1 yorkshire pudding when you’re a veggie and that’s my favourite part of roast! :( our desserts were lovely too.

Always enjoy a meal here if we are in the area. Staff always polite, welcoming and friendly. Despite being always busy, staff can always be seen helping customers and always cheerful.

As avid frequenters of Toby C, we were impressed on this occasion by The manager Tommy.
There was a query with the bill and he took the time and patience to explain it thoroughly to us.
Additionally there was an issue with some of the vegetarian mains we ordered and this was swiftly and satisfactorily dealt with. Great customer service and management skills especially after experiencing nonchalant service on previous occasions.
He definitely raises the bar.

Seated quickly, served by very friendly girl, quick at the carvery, delicious hot food and plenty of it and choice.

A gorgeous place! Excellent cuisine, stylish interior and attentive service. The impressions are only positive.

The food was excellent and the service was good the staff were very helpful. We will definitely go there again. We have also had the breakfast there as well. You could eat as much as you wanted plenty of tea and coffee. In all it was definitely worth it.

Lovely lady Chane served me today. She was polite, attentive and very cheerful. Alex, the carver, presented my meal very well. I hope to return to Stafferton Lodge soon.

Carvery was good value and the beef well cooked and tender. My wife was looking forward to the lamb but was almost down to the bone and was very rare so went for turkey instead.

Update 03/03/24. Booked a table for 6:30 and was 6:45 before we are able to sit at a table. We were seen to then promptly and drinks delivered quickly. But at the carvery was told that there was no Yorkshire puddings, a roast is not a roast for me without a Yorkshire. The roast potatoes were not crispy at all and the beef I had was full of gristle. This is the first poor visit to this Toby and on top of this Sundays carvery is more expense.
