We came to the New Inn for a Sunday Roast. The welcoming from Neil and Rocky (the dog) was great and the food was absolutely delicious. Thanks to Sarah, Martha and Saskia for the food and help with my partner’s dietary needs. We will be back.

we were new to the place, the staff were very kind and friendly and we really enjoyed the dinner whilst our stay there. Our children was very fond of the dog who played with them and they still talks about him. Thank you so much.

10 out of 5 stars. Great pub, lovely owners and staff, excellent food and puddings. And the beer! We will visit again next time we are in the Brecon Beacons. Greetings from the Czech Republic.

I spent an incredibly pleasant evening here. From being welcomed with a handshake and immediately feeling like part of a community, to eating great food - proper cooking (beef pie made with one of the draught ales) and drinking great beer and the localest possible cider (brewed by the pub's neighbour!) - it's really hard to imagine a better pub meal or experience. This is what a local should be - they don't make them like this where I'm from, but I'm looking forward to finding any excuse to be back!

What a beautiful place and what beautiful hosts. Thank you so much for running such a lovely pub. The food was so perfect, so delicious, it was heartbreaking after finishing each meal that there was no more left. The orange cake with pecan and vanilla ice cream will forever live rent free in my heart. Absolutely recommend 100%.

It's our local and we live 170 miles away. We visit the village of Bwlch regularly and we always have food here, the landlord Neil always remembers us, we never feel like strangers, perfect

We stayed at the New Inn while visiting family in BWLCH and had a great time. Neil was an amazing host, the facilities were ideal for what we needed, and the atmosphere was really warm and welcoming. We had some of the best nights sleep we've had in ages and waking up to the views of the mountains was a real treat. Would definitely recommend.

Such a lovely pub. Food was delicious, wine good, atmosphere cosy (fire, games, fairy lights…) and owners really friendly and welcoming. Couldn’t have been nicer, the perfect find after a long walk. Can’t wait to come back….

Fantastic pub, Neil is super welcoming (as well as Rocky), food was delicious, and the atmosphere is great. Dog friendly as well. Especially nice to get recommendations for walks in the area, and to have a chat with some of the locals. Shout out to Julia also, who offered to pick us up in her car if we were ever stuck. :)

If only all pubs were like this! Four well-kept ales on tap and excellent home-cooked food.

This is a great little pub but it doesn’t look like this, as it’s the wrong photo, wrong pub! However, that aside, this place is how pubs should be, choice of four ales, Butty Bach, Felin Foel, and two guest beers often from Grey Trees, Salopian and Bristol Beer. And then lagers, Guinness and all the usual drinks.
The food is home cooked by the owner, from scratch - wonderful and at a very competitive prices. As said above, it is small so there is limited space, booking is essential, worth it in my opinion.
And then there is the landlord’s sense of humour……

Great service, very friendly. Beer top notch and food excellent. What more do you want? Well, if that want enough, you are allowed custard AND ice cream with your crumble.
