The Lake Cafe

I had a lovely fry up breakfast and coffee here, before a hike up the hills. Good food , plenty on the menu £8.50 for the brekkie £3 for a coffee.
I would recommend eating here before or after your hike. Plenty of free parking, happy staff and a shop nextdoor. 👍

Lovely place right next to Llangorse Lake! Great service. Varied menu. Place to eat and/or drink outside as well as in!

Best pastie ever. Try the lamb and mint, big portion of chips, massive pastie, staff very happy and smiling and the atmosphere was chilling. Thank you for making a soaking wet day out into an amazing experience

Lovely clean cafe located right by Llangorse lake, food is excellent and even the sandwiches come with salad and crisps in separate bowls, lovely touch tbh, lovely latte and other drinks, table service was great and nice to see tables cleaned straight after..

Having seen the comments about this cafe. We decided today to call in for lunch. Well we were not disappointed. My wife had fish and chips, and I had Bacon, eggs and chips. After our walk along the Lake Walk, we call back in for coffee and cake. All of which was delivered by very happy and helpful staff. If today was your normal service you have a wonderful cafe. Nice little cafe a short walk from the Llangorse Lake. We enjoyed a shared BLT sandwich on brown and a sausage roll with coffee. Food was absolutely grand although personally the coffee could have been a bit stronger. There was good choice on the menu; offering baguettes and pasties and also more substantial meals with chips and a children's menu. Only open now till the end of October; then closed till spring next year. Good little cafe; does what it says on the tin!

Four of us had lunch here last week and, apart from the food being excellent, I have to congratulate the staff for top rate customer service. The gentleman behind the counter was concerned our table was too small for four of us and went out of his way to sort us a bigger one. Top marks all round for service, quality and value for money!

I love the lake cafe. The food is great and the service pleasant. You can sit inside or outside which is ideal. Of course the setting is sublime with the beautiful lake so near.

Lovely cakes and good coffee. Didn’t try the hot food but the menu has a lot to offer. My friend is gluten free so will visit at some point to try their curry or chilli!

Stopped by during our motorcycle tour of Brecon. Ample free paring, plenty of outdoor seating and the cakes are delicious.

We called in by chance. The restaurant is next to a beautiful lake that we were walking round. It was mid afternoon so we had cake which was really good and I had a mass market milkshake. I should have stuck with the local product. Staff were friendly and helpful I would certainly go back.

At Llangors Lake; a beautiful place, the cafe is a good place to relax after a good walk, or a bit of rowing. Food is great, and service with a smile. Enjoyed it.

Handy to have on site. Hard to properly judge as it's 'all change' due to Covid crisis. They have their arrangements in place and enforce them carefully. Seem to have a good range available though after a fun day kayaking it's invariably the cold drinks I stop by for

The tea was served in a lovely bone China teapot with matching cups and saucers etc
The service was outstanding !!
