Lovely lady served us, very nice to have chat with.
It was a heavy rainfall that caused us to call in after coming across by chance and glad we did. Unfortunately hubby wasn't feeling great so quite a bit of food left but thoroughly enjoyed what had.
Lovely feel to the place with a little quirkiness .
I had the plant based burger which I would recommend and hubby had "proper" burger.

Lovely place, very welcoming and pleasant staff. Good range of options on the menu. Hot dogs looked great, ribs were very solid. Desserts were excellent and seasonal specials looked very good.

Great view of the water and plenty of spaces in the carpark. Not many tables so booking over the phone would be recommended.

Booked a table and went along on a Friday night at around 19:30.

The staff were really lovely and friendly, the food was delicious, we ordered too much but it was all good.

Desserts were just as good as mains.
We will be back if ever over this way again.

Food was delicious and generous portion sizes too. Staff were super friendly and made us and our dog feel really welcome. If you're staying in the area on holiday as we are, it's 100% worth the trip!

Stopped here on the way home without planning. I would describe the menu as gourmet American diner, with a good selection. All of the food came out to literal perfection! There was not a single thing wrong with anything. The music suited the diner, the volume was load enough to hear yet quiet enough to not ruin the atmosphere. Staff were unbelievably hospitable. Two of our children didn't finish their meals and they happily boxed it up for us to go.
Great experience that I would highly recommend. This place is worth both your time and money!

Had a fantastic meal here. We sat out in the sunshine but still received fantastic service, our waiter kept us very entertained!

The food was exceptional. I had a burger and pulled pork fries, all piping hot and delicious. The burger is easily the best I've had in Galloway! My dad had a steak which he said was cooked to perfection. Be warned - the portions are huge and there was no way we could eat everything (to our dogs delight).

We'll definitely be returning here.

Stunning location and a menu to match - there is a wide variety here with some different meats that you don't normally see on our other local menus.

The restaurant is clean with good service, safe parking facility and a friendly atmosphere.

I went with my partner for his birthday. The food was beautiful and the staff were so nice and friendly. It was such a lovely atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back when we are next up here again 😊

Had a truly wonderful meal here! My children especially loved it. The waitress was understanding and patient with my Sons order and needs. The food came in a timely manner and was delicious.

The food is outstanding, well priced, and good quality. They even brought out some sides on the house to accompany our meals.

We met the owner and two other staff, and they were all very welcoming it was like eating around a freinds house.They quickly managed to serve a table of 15 with minimal hassle.

Surprisingly good music and a warm atmosphere inside.

We stopped here on our way back from Galloway Forest and we were so glad we did. The food is fantastic! Best BBQ buffalo wings I've had in a very long time. Location is great too, overlooking the bay. Would highly recommend a visit!

We went in spontaneously when another restaurant was full. The staff here welcomed us even though it was a bit late. The server was really friendly and helpful and the food was really good especially the topped fries. The atmosphere and decor was cool, even if the live music was a little too loud but it was good.

A proper American feel diner on the A75. With all the American paraphernalia. Real delicious flame grilled burgers and the staff are really friendly.. Also it's dog friendly, so take your pooch too!! I went in with my little French bulldog Kizzy after a long 7.5mile loch walk and filled up my burnt calories with a double burger..It was absolutely delicious. Kizzy had treats from the staff and a big bowl of water.

Didn't have a big appetite, so just ordered the soup a Scotch Broth. Good taste, well seasoned. Polite and friendly staff. Doesn't have anything to do with the Smokehouse next door, so don't expect alot of fish on menu card. It is based on an american diner, as the name would suggest

Lovely tasty nachos and chicken tenders to start, fish and chips, cheeseburger and kids Mac and cheese for mains, all lovely, no room for dessert 😢 staff lovely and friendly too. Recommend booking, we tried to book for Friday night and first available table a bit late so booked the Saturday instead.

Oh My Goodness! What can I say? Three of us ate.
The food was just gorgeous, chickwich, slugger and roadhouse burgers were perfect.
We had garlic mushrooms and a chorizo and mozzarella starter equally good.
Apple pie x2 for dessert and baked cheesecake. Yum!
The owner was lovely, chatty and friendly. The restaurant its self is decorated very nicely with a musical theme.

This place is really different.I cannot say how much I enjoyed our visit to Roadhouse Blues. We had a large party and the staff ensured everything was as we requested.
Great location as well with views over the Solway. Get down there to sample the wonderful food. You won’t be disappointed.

The food is divine, the staff are lovely, the vibe is cool and the location is stunning! My partner and I had the chorizo and cheese starter and the roadhouse burgers - everything was SUPERB and the best tasting restaurant food we've ever had!! Highly recommend and we will definitely be back 😋

Had a birthday meal here which was absolutely delicious! Quick and good quality service too! The American diner atmosphere is quite cool! I even got a little banner put out for me by the staff with a card! I'll be back!
