Food good at Lairds Inn which is open now. Swimming pools good as with cafe although closed at moment due to Covid 19 restrictions. Small play park for kids. Well spaced out pitches with large grassy areas for tents. Quiet site so more suited to laid back folks. Pub on site. Village has mini supermarket with loads supplies and Newton Stewart few miles away has larger supermarkets etc lovely views would recommend a stay here, staff friendly and helpful x

Just back home from 4 great days at Castle Cary Holiday Park. Facilities are good however they could all do with an upgrade especially the shower blocks, outdoor pool areas. Also required are far more electric points on the tent field which would certainly bring more people to the park. Other than that it is a relaxing place to spend a few days. Hopefully the upgrades will happen.

Been here for 1night,facilities good,2small pools(indoor and outdoor).I felt the wee shop was a little expensive,but it's not surprising Covid can't have helped campsites. The new shower blocks are nice and large.Overall very good indeed.

First time camping away with the kids, only our first day but we love the site so far! Toilets and showers are nice and clean, the facilities are everything you could need. Brilliant!

Great place for a family swim, warm outdoor pool and toddler pool. Cafe is good , small amusement arcade with pool tables and even a snooker table for hire, crazy golf. Just couple minutes walk too, from the Laird's Inn , for a pint ! 😀 Credit to Creetown!

Been going for years, lovely site, in beautiful surroundings. Laird's Inn restaurant / pub on site just caps it off. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a play area and loads of space to run around in, makes it great for kids and families.

Fantastic site, well kept with great facilities, just be mindful of the traffic noise if you are camping on the Bay View field, choose the main camping field. Well spaced out pitches and good value for family camping.

We had an awesome time here, excellent pools and cafe, staff lovely. Lots of beautiful walks

Nice relaxing site with a good pub on site.
Campsite itself is in a great location but others around look as good .
Back again Easter 2018 .. the updates have been done the place is looking great . Looks like it could be busy again. Going to test the pub again !!

Toilets and showers are spotless. Camp site and caravans well run. Staff are very helpful. Will definitely visit again.

We have been going to castle Cary holiday park since it opened about 30 years ago,it is perfect for tourers and camping also there is statics and lodges to hire,there is plenty for all the family to do , indoor and outdoor swimming pools a games room and a cafe also an outdoor play park for the kids , there is an olde worlde pub which does fantastic food to eat in or take away

This is a great wee holiday park, well kept , clean, with good facilities. We are grandparents who stayed with two young children.....We all had an amazing weekend. We will use it again

beautiful park scenery is beautiful lovely heated indoor outdoor pools even toddler pool staff are really friendly and helpful cafe and pub resturant are great would highly recommend eating in both foods great great lots for kids and adult too do beautiful beaches nearby and 9 loads lovely place to visit things to do nearby but plenty on site to keep u and kids busy

Nice location, adequate amenities, very reasonably priced plus the bonus of very few midges! Camping pitches are extremely large and plenty room for kids to play.

Stayed 3 nights excellent pitches nice and quiet some of the amenities are a bit dated but it won't stop us going back the warden is brilliant nothing is too much trouble for her

Excellent laid back beautiful place. With own castle and onsite pub/restaurant. Pool, shop and cafe.

Love the facilities on this site, come rain or shine the pool is heated and, will be strongly recommending this as our holiday next year to the misses!

Great time at castle cary..Great entertainment for kids yesterday with bouncy castle, face painting and hairbraiding to celebrate jubilee

We love this place,been a few times, hope to come back next weekend,and see Sharon,and Alistair....if only you would get a petmaperm residential license....
