A favourite foodie pub for us! Never had a bad meal or experience in any way. Manager is very helpful and friendly. Lovely warm welcoming atmosphere. Amazing food with BIG portions! All you could possibly want from a family pub.

Went for lunch. The pub was clean and well presented, the staff were efficient and friendly and the ordering was quick and simple. The food was good, hot and arrived quickly. A pleasant experience, happy to return.

I absolutely love this pub, the staff are friendly and the food is amazing, I always get the katsu chicken curry and it tastes amazing 🤤 also they are kid friendly and my child and my friends child loves it here aswell. Can't wait to visit again soon for my birthday.

Didn't eat so can't rate food. Went there to watch the England game. Dont drink, on cans of guiness zero so cant really rate beer, mates had no complaints.No reason to mark them down.

Great atmosphere, cozy environment, friendly people and nice food. Couldn't asked for anything else. Plus a nice collection of books just for a pound to donate.

Dropped in to the Rose and Crown during a walk with the kids. Incredible value for the children’s meals and amazingly accommodating staff (especially when my youngest spilt his milk). They were offering face painting over Easter too!

We had booked our Christmas dinner her for the whole family, none of us have ever been out for Christmas dinner ever so was the first for us and can honestly say we were absolutely 100 percent happy with everything! There was about 17 of us all together and the food and service was amazing. All of the staff were super friendly and the food was delicious. Nothing was to much trouble. Really happy with the whole experience and all of us said that we will book again next year for the Christmas lunch. Was very happy with everything. Thank you to all of the staff ☺

Pre booked. Arrived, seated promptly and starters arrived. All good so far. Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed that the main course took nearly an hour to arrive. The place did look fully booked so we were there at a very busy time. Luckily it was worth the wait. All 7 meals arrived correctly at the same time, all hot and everything was absolutely delicious. The puddings we're equally amazing. Definitely return.
