American Golf - Ingleby Barwick

Having read some of previous negative reviews about AG Ingleby Barwick, I booked a fitting. My initial contact via email was excellent, Reece was very accommodating and flexible about my appointment. On arrival I was met by the staff and taken to the fitting booth by a lady named Sam who carried out the fitting. Sam was absolutely brilliant, what an asset to the store she is. The fitting was very insightful, the information, patience and fantastic advice she gave me was excellent. Thanks again Sam, you were awesome!

Great for a round of golf great merchandise and very friendly staff, Reece is a top fella.

Went for a driver fitting this morning and i had a nightmare with my swing/striking. This meant i couldnt get fitted for a new driver. Reece (apologies if i spelt your name wrong!) Was incredibly helpful, patient and understanding as i was nervous and terrible! I will be 100% be back to buy my new driver for this store

Booked in for a fitting online, really simple and efficent booking system. Greeted instore and confirmed booking, was then given range token to hit a few balls (25). I wanted to try some off-set drivers to "cure" my slice, spent the next hour with James who I have to say was first class. Patient & knowledgable, he quickly establised my achilles heel and was soon hitting longer straighter drives. Well done James - First Class Customer Sevice.

Have bought from them before. Always helpful and (apart from ladies clothing!) generally hold a good range of stock. Competitive prices and always do a price match.

Had a club fitting for irons. Rich from the Ingelby branch was very knowledgeable and give me some great tips on how to improve my swing. Great expieriance and would definitely recommend.

Bought a full set of custom fitted irons and wedges from here and numerous other things on other trips, irons took a bit longer to come than I was told but the service and friendliness of the staff is absolutely class

Always found the staff helpful, Knowledgeable, friendly. The store has a good selection of items. Prices reasonable. Not sure what to say it's my go to store.

Always think the assistants are there to help you get the best clubs for you. Do not get the hard sell which I like. The staff always seem knowledgeable and helpful when I've been in which is impressive.

Staff always on hand to help and advise. Good knowledge, great service in my experience. Range attached, buy range tokens at the counter here.

I was made welcome through out the period of my visit.
The purpose of my visit was achieved to my satisfaction and I am pleased to recommend both the Ingleby and the Middlesbrough store to my friends.

Cannot fault this place. Stocked with golf items for personal choice, and generally friendly and helpful staff. A safe place to shop.

Sean gave me some useful advice and was very helpful.
Had a problem initially with a mark on the head of the club but this was replaced after a week.
