It was better than I expected. I was given a ps3 and wanted some games and got 4 games for £6. The staff were friendly and knew what they were talking about.
I can't fault it.

It's good to clear out your tech once in a while and take it here, if your new it's very quick once your signed up and the voucher option is good as you can purchase later from the shop or off the website when you find what you want.

I've just purchased my favourite camera from off their website and I'm totally stoked with it, a Sony a57 with kit lenses, a total bargain.
First class service all round bought with the voucher system.

I would just like to say thank you to Dave and his team.
Walked into the store today (Saturday pm) and it was busy three members of staff working flat out, my items needed testing before I sold to them, but because they were very busy it would take time and a large queue was forming. So Dave gave me an hour to return which was great as I could go and shop. 45 minutes later I returned the shop was clear of customers so I asked and They had rushed my items through. Sold I'm so happy with the service I receive from Dave and his team.

Had a good experience buying a phone from here back in August, I purchased a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, so understandably buying such a high value item that wasn't brand new, I was keen to inspect the item and assess it's condition. Luckily the helpful staff in-store were on hand to show me the device out of it's box and advised me that it was in as-new condition, which was correct as the item hadn't even had it's protective films peeled off.

Large selection of items in-store, so don't discount visiting if you're looking for a good deal on a phone or other electronic that you're looking at purchasing.

Traded in blu rays and DVDs for vouchers to spend in store. There's a 20 DVD a day limit but no current limit on blu rays. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Great, chatty, friendly & knowledgeable staff. Can feel a bit intimidating for us parents in these kind of shops, but not this one. No condescending comments, made to feel welcome and more than happy to explain or give guidance. Been there quite a few times now and always a decent service. Small on the outside but packed full & well laid out inside. Some bargains to be had.

One of the few places in the UK where you can buy a working Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS2, PS3, PS4, PSP etc. + great selection of games for these consoles + the price is reasonable. I mean, you can buy PS2 and X360 games for just £1. That's awesome.

More often than not I come here for the purpose of quick cash from things I no longer use/play/watch. Generally speaking it's not as much as I could get elsewhere like FB marketplace or Ebay but its a faster solution to getting things off my hands.

Always have a great conversation with the staff here as they're all very passionate about films and games. I always leave this particular CeX branch happy.

I visit here at least once a week when I'm in town, even if it's a quick pop in or a 20 mins browse. Always got something new for me to pick up. Started a retro console collection a few years ago and CEX has only helped to build it. Never received anything that was poor quality or damaged. Never had any issues. I picked up a rare N64 console here for very cheap and works perfectly and was clean. CeX is the only place I trust when buying second hand games/consoles because I am protected with their 24 month warranty on every console which is something you don't get with eBay. As for selling stuff, once again, never an issue. They send me away for an hour whilst they test it and then give me either cash or credit. Credit tends to be more so I usually opt for that considering I spend all my money there anyway. Staff are friendly, always up for a laugh and will talk to you. They're not dull and boring or too professional which is what I like when I go into a shop. I'd rather be greeted by a genuine person than someone who has been scripted from their manager. All around great service, nice size shop and always filled with stock new and old games. Thanks CeX

Great little shop , good selection of games for different consoles , stock new releases and vintage games for PS3 and a few for PS2 which was a pleasant surprise. Helpful staff will certainly return

Great staff extreamly helpful

Really great prices both trading in and buying, staff were very supportive and helpful - although if you want lots of help it's best not to go at busy times. Their USP has to be their warranties, two days to return if you've bought the wrong thing and two years if it stops working - for this reason I'd say cex is well worth the slight premium over buying on eBay etc.

With a good selection of phones gaming equipment, video games, DVDs, computer memory, laptops and cameras all used and in great condition now with a 2 year warranty on lots of items, thus us the shop to visit for most if not all of your used tech requirements.
Oh and not to forget they will buy your used tech which is good for the planet and your pocket...

Love it. Always have all the obscure games for my ps3 and all the latest tech and games for my xbox one. Has a massive variety despite being quite a small shop. Has DVDs, phones, speakers, consoles, games of all kind and great customer service with it. Love it : )

Swing in here on July 15 2021 (around 4pm) while I was staying locally and the staff in there were all friendly, accommodating and full of chat! I wrote the date and time as I didn’t get those names and want them praised by their higher ups for their great customer relations!
