Friendly staff willing to help with your needs and purchases.
Mobility wise you will need to use a stick to access and move around.
Highly reccomended for a visit.

Absolutely love this place, we’ve been coming to the Peak District for years and each time we do we visit The Old Barn.

The owners are lovely, so welcoming and the shop has everything you could possibly need. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

What a lovely shop! Had exactly what we needed and wasn't over priced. Female attendant was fantastic, straight talking with no messing around. She went to the trouble of fitting our dog with the harness we needed for our walk. A real pleasure spending our money here and would visit again if in the area.

A great little shop with all the walking essentials, really useful if you've left some gear at home!. Very friendly and knowledgeable owners who were more than happy to the time to advise us on some beautiful nearby low level walks when it was too warm to take our old pooch up the fells. It really puts a smile on your face when you receive such good service in these strange times.

The best shop in castleton to visit, loads of great items from clothing, jams, candles, amazing icecreams! And the best selection of dog treats ever. there is a amazing selection of photos in the shop, The owners are amazing! Apollo sends his doggy kisses

Came in here whilst walking the dog. Found the lady behind the counter to be very friendly showing my dog lots of fuss and giving her countless treats. I ended up getting some pork scratchings and a cute stuffed rabbit toy for my dog, some great scotch bonnet seriously hot sauce and a magnet to remember our visit to this beautiful village. I recommend this wonderful little gift shop.

Lovely shop. I was buying a few things from this shop and I accidently left my two walking poles behind. After a phone call to the lovely lady possibly the owner she safely tucked my poles behind the counter till I was able to pick them up the next day.Not only did they keep them for me but they also attached a couple of the rubber protectors to the bottom of them free of charge. How lovely is that! Thank you so much you lovely people. X Great shop with great prices.

Small outdoor clothing and gift shop. We went in looking for a notebook, but left with a new fleece which my husband walked away in as it was a colder day than expected.

I'm not normally one for leaving reviews but I was so glad to have finally found some trousers to fit my long legs that I wanted to express my thanks. I was also very pleased with the ability to ring and speak to a real person to confirm what it was I was ordering and the trousers arrived first class less than 24 hours later. Great service. P.S. This is my first pair of Craghopper trousers and they are so comfortable that I can see myself wearing them for more than just walking.

I Think this is the best shop in Castleton, some great gear and some really nice gifts at good prices. Very friendly family that love dogs and sell some great healthy treats, Willow our Labrador loves going here to see Eddy the resident black Lab 😁😁

I’ve visited the shop which was absolutely beautiful and had a very warm welcome from the owners. I have also ordered from their website and the delivery came very quickly, the quality of the products were amazing. I would highly recommend them.

Great shop for camping equipment and gifts,dog toys etc they also sell umbrellas lucky for me as it was raining heavy when I was last in the area.
