Vanimal

Bought via the Vanimal eBay store, these made-to-measure shelves are a great addition to my work van. Flatpack kit was securely packaged, no bits missing and was easy to put together. My van is ply lined so I did need to reshape the back of the uprights a little to get them flush against the walls and fit the mounting brackets but the unit feels very sturdy now it’s installed. I’ve also painted it to seal the surface for increased durability.
Worth the money to have a well organised van and far easier than trying to design & build my own unit from scratch.

Delivery was fast, installation took me 5 minutes. Clean your door frame line the deflector up peel the sticker and its on. Great product

I Had to return a Transit A-Bar due to the wrong recommendation from the 4x4tyresandaccessories team. It took over 2 months to get the refund. Very difficult to get any response via email, while on phone they would say that refund should be with me in a few working days, but that would never arrive. Turns out they didn't have my bank details. So after sorting that out, I've got a partial refund as they changed me a restocking fee. After more requests for the total amount they apologized and I've got the full amount (excluding parking sensor blocking pads as they were unusable once stuck on). Not the best experience, but the items they sell are of great quality and have a large selection. Professional communication, shame about not replying to initial emails. Might still buy Vanimal in the future...

Delivery was nice and quick. Unfortunately the holes wasn't cut exact so I had to file down the ends and holes to fit as it started splitting the wood. Pity really as it's a decent product for the money.

Ordered a new tow bar and electrics for my Vivaro as I thought the price was good.

It arrived quickly and sat in its packaging in my garage for a few weeks as I couldn't fit it immediately. Upon opening the item it was badly damaged, protective coating scratched and looked as if it was a second, or previously returned product. I had no option to return as I needed to use it.

Contacted customer service who wiped their hands of the issue and have since not bothered to respond to my second email.

Will ensure to tell people to avoid using this company.

UPDATE - Vanimal felt it necessary to respond here but not to my emails. In response to their comment, no courier company would be able to wait for the goods to be unpackaged, especially considering how well the item was initially packed. With that being said, the damage on my item would not have been caused in transit and was a result of poor quality control from Vanimal.

Do not purchase sidebars from Vanimal. Website clearly states these fit T6.1, see screenshot from their website, however when they arrived the instructions were illegible. A second set of instructions were then sent but still not clear as photographs didn’t match. I then had to pay local garage to fit as Vanimal would not believe me that they were incorrect, once up on ramp it was clear that the bars were not compatible with VWT6.1 even though website clearly stated they were.

Vanimal mechanics confirmed the bars would not fit my van from photos taken from under my van.

Vanimal then arranged collection but I had to chase them for the refund. When refund was made they deducted £60 from cost and deducted my original cost to have item posted to me. After numerous calls they refunded the additional £60 but still refused to refund the original postage and cost of local garage I had to incur to prove to them the bars would not fit. After several more calls postage has been agreed to be refunded however garage costs still being refused. Company manager and director refuse to speak to me. Appalling customer service!

First time I have purchased from Vanimal but unfortunately I wont be returning. Ordered some van racking and I found as others have that the joints were just far too tight and resulted in it splitting. I contacted them and was advised that it was my fault and I had caused the damage which was absolute nonsense. I am aware this it is precision laser cut racking but humans are still involved and the tenons are just too tight and the measurements need altering slightly otherwise you have to force them. I should have read other reviews first as I can see others have had the same problem and again they have tried to blame the customer.
They could have resolved this easily but they were too eager to point out it was my fault and thats the end of it.
If the customer service (after sales) was better then I would have been happy to recommend or return when I needed more.

I read your reply that I used a hammer which is a complete lie, I used a soft rubber mallet as per instructions and explained this to you and even offered to send pictures, very dishonest of you.
