The Three Coopers

Stayed for one night as I was viewing a property in the area. Very friendly welcome, ended the evening chatting with Rob and Sara, which was very enjoyable. Woke up to a fantastic breakfast, perfect stay. Heartily recommend.

Nice rooms, good food at the sister pub, The Green Dragon (which is 200 yards away). Would stay there again.

Great stay, owner was good craic, lovely dogs. My only down point would be the pillows, but im fussy. Breakfast was great also.

Had a drink in here today and it's under new management, however, given the look they are going for I'm sure it will be great.

Never have I encountered such nice hosts as Sara and Rob. Our car broke down between Newcastle and Norfolk and we needed somewhere to stay overnight. Rob was there to take us in late at night and also feed us early the next morning. Sara took over afterwards and made us feel really at home and comfortable while we waited for a hire car. I really cannot express mine and my family's gratitude for looking after us so well when we were in a dire place. Also, rooms were nice and clean and breakfast was amazing (thanks Rob).

My partner & I stayed there one weekend. We had a lovely clean room, comfy bed, was peaceful, great shower too!
In the evening we enjoyed a meal in the town then back to the three coopers for drinks, lovely landlord & landlady there, made us feel very welcome in their warm friendly establishment, as did their friendly doggies too!.
In the morning we had a BIG breakfast which was cooked to perfection & got us started for the day, we always pop back for a visit whenever we are in the area this our local when away from home

Very friendly, clean and tidy. Great value for money. Made to feel at home even in the bar where I was able to watch what I wanted and given the remote!! Wait till you meet the most beautiful dogs. I’d have taken one home except she was too heavy🤣

Sara and Rob are lovely hosts, who made me feel very welcome from the moment I arrived. Nothing was too much bother and they really went above and beyond to accommodate my vegan dietary requirements.

Lovely b&b. Massive breakfast and a lovely power shower with an ever helpful host and two adorable pub dogs.

Can't recommend the place enough. Lovely garden full of flowers for a pint or two as well.

Will be back!

I have stayed here on a few occasions while working in the area. It’s a lovely little pub, with great friendly staff. I’ve always been made welcome with the locals as well. Well recommended

Rob & Sara are tremendous hosts nothing is a bother accommodation excellent. The food is brilliant and a great pint of beer. Always get good service and always made welcome. A++++++

Thoroughly enjoyed our 1 night stay. Sara was very friendly and welcoming. It was in a great location. We got a a breakfast included in the price,and we had the option of small or large. We both chose the small breakfast.. It was more than enough to keep usgoing. Very generous portions.
We would most definitely stop there again.

We had a brilliant stay at the Three Coopers! It was perfect location in the heart of Bedale. The rooms were the cleanest rooms we've ever stayed in and the breakfasts were great. Absolutely lovely service. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Last minute booking at the Three Coppers. Late arrival and yet we were welcomed by such hospitable staff all the same. The landlady showed us to get our room which was perfect for our short stay and the time was taken to ask if there was anything we needed before we set off out which i thought was very thoughtful. The pub itself was warm, inviting with amples of character.
Its locals friendly, quick to greet you and strike up a friendly chat. Perfect for a chilly evening out celebrating new years eve!

The next morning, after a nice quiet breakfast, nursing a hangover. We were offered (rather fortunately) to check out in our own time. We REALLY needed that, so thank you times a million!
Our stay, although brief was absolutely perfect. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend so I'd urge anyone considering visiting the area to book in. It's a lovely bar, bed and breakfast ❤

Lovely 17th century Inn, rooms are small but comfortable. The owners provide a warm, friendly atmosphere and an excellent breakfast. Beer is well kept and the dogs are delightful. It's a great place to stay in Bedale.

Amazing team: Rob and Sara are fun, professional and ridiculously accommodating! Their dogs are beautiful too. The rooms and facilities are beautiful too, lovely thoughtful touches, always a pleasure to stay so much that I told work to only book there for the area!

Quiet, cosy place tucked just off the Main high Street. The friendly locals and staff made us feel very welcome during our short visit. The pub has two gentle dogs, there is a sign on the door advising how to bring your dog inside without causing mayhem. The pub has a lot of character - unlike the chain run pubs where we come from - this place is proudly individual. There is a pool table and a shelf of vinyl records, presumably for customers to browse and put on. From the ceiling beams there is a quickly collection of key rings dangling. Thought this was a charming little pub, compared the other more boisterous, noisy places on the Main Street. If we are in the area we will call in again - we may even book a room!

Rob and Sara were very welcoming and very friendly. The room was beautiful. The breakfast was absolutely amazing and the biggest we have had anywhere!!. Highly recommended and we will definitely be staying at this place again 😊😊
