Always and always a favourite. You know other people like it when my father in law says “if you happen to be passing through Hartley Wintney is there a chance you might pick up something.” And of course. So lunch transforms from “ham sarnie” to “astonishingly amazing sausage and apple roll with thick flaky cheese straws, plus oh we got you some scotch eggs and a couple of quiches for your dinners.” Cue happy old man, full bellies, emptied plates.

The most unbelievable pie you will ever eat in your life. So good we went back and bought 3 more!

FYI - They don’t have any gluten free pies which was disappointing but the gluten eaters with us said they were incredible.

Had to try it twice to make sure it wasn't a fluke, the first visit.
Best pie shop around. They do not disappoint. Great amount of meat filling, pastry just right, and the taste is amazing.
Well worth the 8 mile drive for pie night.
A proper pie. It does get busy sometimes but in this case it's a positive sign that they are doing something right. And they are well worth the wait.
Clearly they take pride in what they are producing.

Lovely shop in Hartley Wintney. There's lots of different delicates when you walk inside and are very tasteful. New coffee machine in store with incredible served coffee.

The food is incredible. The sausage rolls are delicious. And the quiches. I'm sure we'll work our way through the menu. It's so very good. This place should carry a health warning. 🤣 The staff are also very friendly and helpful.

Just popped in this morning and had the best pastry I've ever had. Thai beef pasty and a pain au raisin. Was supposed to be saving the pasty for later but couldn't resist!

Sandwiches are great, as are the sausage rolls! Friendly service and nice selection. Coffee is good too!

I popped in as I noticed next to Costa and the pies looked unreal! Purchased a hot steak and kidney pie. Wow! Massive pieces of steak and kidney, gorgeous gravy, and flakey buttery pastry! I'm a pie fanatic and this was the best pie 8ve had in 20 years!!! Thankyou!!

I pop into this shop when passing by Hartley Wintney..sadly not as much as I would like to. The staff are wonderful, and very friendly. I can honestly say, that their crumbles are the best I have ever tasted...and I have had a few. Love the layout of the shop. Everything is beautifully presented. A good old fashioned shop, and a pleasure to visit. Keep up the good work...from a very satisfied customer!

Excellent selection of savoury and sweet pies and pastries with an international twist on traditional English favourites (e.g. steak and kidney pies, pasties, quiches) as well as a delightful range of ready prepared meals. Sensible social distancing policy.

Love it. The lamb curry pasty was amazing. Great selection. We stocked up on pies and pastries not disappointed with any of it. It was all great quality and very tasty.

Exceptional food. Friendly service. Impossible to choose from the many delicious items. 10 out of 10 for everything I've tried so far from pastries to deli meats to ready meals. All splendid.

I was driving through the town today and pulled over the minute I spotted this shop, I am a keen foodie and know a quality establishment when I see one, even from 1200yards away!! I bought a Chicken Balti Pasty and a Chicken Pie for my better half, I got back to my office in Fleet and piled into the Pasty, WOW! just WOW! proper pastry, lots of filling and big chunks of chicken in a lightly seasoned Balti sauce, amazing, just agreed with my work colleague that were going to do more work in this area just so we can stop off to buy more, there is a google review on here that's 1star ranting about hygiene, I have passed several food hygiene exams (in a past life) so I am fully familiar with cross contamination and I can tell you this place is spotless! cant wait top go back next week...

I had the pleasure of grabbing a pastie and a coffee today from here for lunch. All I can say is that I haven't had a pastie that good in decades. The last one was from Wrights the Baker in Fleet, and that has to be 20+ years ago since they closed.

This place is amazing, what a gorgeous selection of interesting pies and other bakeries. Absolutely delicious.

I now know where i'm getting my pastries from in future. Well done to the owners, seriously good.

It's no exaggeration to say I just had the best chicken pie that I can ever recall. Big chunks of juicy chicken in a delicious white sauce packed into a lovely flakey pasty pie. I live 10 miles away but will be making a detour in the future to sample more of their fresh chicken and steak based pies.

These guys provided quiche and salad bowls for our wedding. So helpful all the way - and the food was delicious!!!!! Highly recommend. 🫶

I visited Hartley Witney mainly to visit this shop. The selection of pies, pasties and quiches was amazing and the staff were very friendly too. As I visited on my bike I was limited in how much I could carry without it getting squashed so I’ll have to return in the car to load up! The pasty was one of the best I’ve ever had, really nice filling with plenty of meat with a lovely flakey pastry and it was moist too

The best chicken, leek, and bacon pie I have had either for a very long time or ever! Lovely service too and friendly staff. I will be back :)

Everything we have eaten from here has been fabulous! From the pasties to the curries, salads to the sandwiches! William Dyers also catered for a party we had a few weeks ago and Jess was fantastic at helping us pic the right foods for the occasion. All the staff are super friendly too. We can’t rate this shop more highly!

Simply the best pie shop in 25 miles radius. I have become a true converter to the quiche (red peppers, goats cheese and spinach fav), the chicken/turkey pies and my little secret on how to make 30 friends at work just by simply bringing those in or doing the lunch runs. The spinach & ricotta deli is a veggie favourite, Balti and Thai chicken pasties bring variety to standard lunches and I'm now starting a low carb diet - fear not, there is a rich scotch egg so I don't miss out. Always welcome with a lovely smile. What else does a human need I ask!
