Popped in yesterday for a coffee - will certainly be back! Coffee shop is chic, comfortable and reasonably-priced. Toilets were clean. All the staff were very friendly, and service was efficient. Already planning to do some of my Xmas shopping here!

A place of magic . Wonderful retail area with beautiful gift ware. Excellent restaurant.
I always manage to get a few outfits in the boutique. Staff are warm and welcoming.
I look forward to my visit when I'm in Yarm.

When I lived in Yarm in the mid-70’s this was just a few doors down and a great place for gifts and all kinds of items you don't know you need until you need them. It's laid out differently now but still has its individuality and charm, with added vintage shop and community hub upstairs. Great place...and they still sell incense sticks almost 50 years on!

Went for lunch today and ordered the cheese and onion quiche, 10 out of 10, my husband had a ploughmans, which was enough for 2 people. Such good value for money. Had a little meander in the gift shop, it was a treasure trove.

A great place for gifts. It's a cross between Aladdin's cave and a tardis! Definitely worth a visit. There is a cafe in the back too which I am going to try next time. Staff are helpful and friendly.

Went in through the pottery with our dog! He was made welcome and given a table with plenty of space for him. Only had soup (broccoli and stilton) and bread but it was fantastic, really thick, which I like, and served with some beautiful warmed sourdough and butter.

This is a real gem of a shop and is a must when in Yarm. You can always find that ‘unusual’ gift and the clothes department have some lovely pieces. I often meet friends there for coffee/lunch and a little shopping treat and we rarely leave without buying something! Staff are always very pleasant and helpful which is so important. They have it just right!! Thanks ‘Strickys’!!

I visit fairly regularly for breakfast and a little less often for lunch or an afternoon coffee and have always enjoyed the experience. The cafe is a welcoming space, especially the fire on cold winter visits, and the staff are friendly. In my experience the only time service has been a bit slow is when they are busy, which the cafe is at peak times.
The food we have had has always been really good with great coffee. The cakes they do all seem to be made inhouse and all the ones we have tried pretty have been pretty good. One memorable one was a creme egg scotch egg. Very chocolaty and rich, one sufficient for two people. Cakes can also be bought to takeaway. There is a small patio area at the rear which is handy if we have our dogs with us. It gets shade during the afternoon so a late lunch is comfortable here on a warm summer day.

Love this shop!! I come here every time I visit Yarm and is my go to place when shopping for gifts and cards, although I always end up buying things for myself. They regularly change the content so there is always something new in the shop. They sell a lot of personalised gifts and very unique items, including some local products. I also think the card selection here is great too- especially the funny cards that are very origional. Service here is always fantastic, and I thoroughly recommend going to the cafe at the back , they have an outdoor seating area and the cakes here are amazing! (my favourite bring the classic school dinner cake). Wish more high Street shops could be like this.

Great shop and cafe on Yarm High St. It's quiet a large premises although it doesn't look it from the outside. There is a wide range of distinctive and quirky gifts, novelties and cards. At the back there is a really nice cafe where you can enjoy a coffee and a cake or a full lunch. If I was looking for a gift for a special occasion or a card to send to someone - this is where I would go in Yarm. Recommended!

A lovely independent shop.. Been shopping there for 50 years! Always has quirky gifts and greeting cards.. I've seen it evolve from little gift shop and pharmacy to the lovely shop it is today.

This shop is awesome, really old shop with clickety wooden floor. Lovely soft toys in the front, great card selection in the middle with party bag fillers, gifts such as candles towards the back and a cafe right at the back. If you like Yarm High Street, you'll like this. Closed on Sundays apart from in December.

Love this shop/café, it has all manner of goodies for sale from toys to toiletries and fragrances to furniture. The café is lovely, with a range of hot and cold drinks and delicious food. Had the most tasty scone yesterday - Mozzarella and tomato, it was the best scone I've had in a café, ever. Staff are lovely too.

About Yarm
Town in England

Yarm, also referred to as Yarm-on-Tees, is a market town and civil parish in the Borough of Stockton-on-Tees, North Yorkshire, England. It is in Teesdale with a town centre on a small meander of the River Tees. To the south-east, it extends to the River Leven, to the south it extends into the Kirklevington. Yarm bridge marked the river's furthest tidal-flow reaching until a barrage opened to regulate the tide in 1995. It was previously the last bridge before the sea, having been superseded multiple times since. It was first superseded by a toll bridge in 1771, crossing into Stockton-on-Tees. The town's historic county is Yorkshire, the North Riding sub-division. The three sub-divisions had gained separate county status in 1889 before these were abolished in 1974. source
