Discovered this delightful little coffee shop hidden away in one of the narrow wynds away from the bustle of the High Street. It's only small inside, but it's very cosy and welcoming. Loved the colourful mural of Venice on one wall! There are also a few tables outside in the alleyway. More than just a café, it's also a little shop where you can buy cheeses, salami, olives, pasta, wine and other Italian delicacies. Great choice of coffees. Their mocha was to die for: very rich flavour, piping hot. I also tried one of their delicious miniature almond cakes. The owners were really friendly and made me feel at home. Would definitely recommend!

Cosy and friendly Italian style café situated just off the high street. Great food and coffee with a good panini selection on the menu plus a nice little outside seating area with a canopy and outside heaters for those cold winter days. I would recommend.

In regards to the most recent review from Mr John Blenkinsop, the comments he has posted have slated my workplace in an unfair and ruthless manner. My employer provided video evidence of him walking off the premises with bags in hand, to call my boss untrustworthy and my place of work dishonest is idiotic. Never in my 21 years on this planet have I ever met someone more generous and welcoming and to call him anything else would be wrong.

Can't wait to see you again soon in the deli service will be tip top as ever.

We indulged in a delightful Italian haven with small, great vibes and an exquisite Mediterranean panini. The atmosphere is cosy, and the paninis are superb primarily the Mediterranean ones. The ever-friendly Paul serves fantastic coffee in this charming spot. A gratifying experience!

As my daughter is an employee in this establishment I reply to a mr blenkinsop in a previous review I don’t know what type of establishments you frequent in Newcastle but the establishment in Yarm called borrellis is a well know well liked and thoroughly enjoyable place to eat drink and have intellectual conversation I suggest mr Blenkinsop that after reviewing the cctv pictures that have been provided of you frequenting the premises with the bags in question you man up and apologies to all involved for you to put the reputation of this establishment in question is an absolute disgrace
I look forward to seeing a reply as quick as he put on the disgraceful review totally unfounded @johnblenkinsop

Tiny and cozy cafe on the High Street. Only about 10 tables and a few window seats. Dogs allowed. Small but nice menu of breakfasts, lunches and snacks. Friendly service. Recommended.

About Yarm
Town in England

Yarm, also referred to as Yarm-on-Tees, is a market town and civil parish in the Borough of Stockton-on-Tees, North Yorkshire, England. It is in Teesdale with a town centre on a small meander of the River Tees. To the south-east, it extends to the River Leven, to the south it extends into the Kirklevington. Yarm bridge marked the river's furthest tidal-flow reaching until a barrage opened to regulate the tide in 1995. It was previously the last bridge before the sea, having been superseded multiple times since. It was first superseded by a toll bridge in 1771, crossing into Stockton-on-Tees. The town's historic county is Yorkshire, the North Riding sub-division. The three sub-divisions had gained separate county status in 1889 before these were abolished in 1974. source
