Tookeys

It was my first visit to Tookey's Cafe today, which only happened because Gregg's was out of sandwiches and sausage rolls.

We got 2 sandwiches, 2 cans of sprite, a packet of posh crisps and a big sausage roll for £11. The sandwiches (1x ham and tomato and 1x cheese, red onion and mayo) had generous fillings of a good quality. The two ladies working there were friendly and helpful.

There was plenty of seating available despite it being a Saturday lunchtime.

All three of us enjoyed our food and agreed we'd be happy to come back.

Excellent food and drink at a reasonable price. Convivial company, pleasant staff snd volunteers. Hot food cooked to order. Well worth a visit.
