ALDI

I don't personally usually use Aldi as my local ones are quite small and often have sold out of things I want.
However, I visited this one with my son and granddaughters when he did a weekly shop.
I was quite impressed as it was well stocked. When it came to my son paying I was extremely impressed with how little it cost for a large trolley full.

Staff always seem friendly enough. Quality of fresh produce is hit&miss.
Always seem to have exactly 1 less till than they should.
Middle Isle is treasure trove of things you maybe need.

Plenty of choice of popular brands and Aldi own brands, good quality fruit, veg and meat. Plus the random products of the centre isle. Go at off-peak times for quiet shopping experience. Two EV charge points, no longer free, but have been reliable for me using either a Shell charge fob or Octopus energy card, not as reliable using apps.

Great shop loads of parking and never feels crammed

parking good, shop clean and tidy. Snr member of staff, observed quietly ushering, extra staff to tills when needed. We had a rare drive out so we visited out of curiosity as much as to buy something specific.

Sadly the item we went for, was out of stock, but that's due to us and no fault of the store. (The air dryer- guess it is still in high demand across the country.)

Leaving the store and rejoining the main road, was hazard free too. 😄. Always a bonus!

Quick shop to get some dog food for a family member. Great selection of food. Lots of choice and they often taste better than 'branded products'

As I see now the Aldi one of the best on price. Good product lots of choices.

The names of some of the products might be different but the prices are a lot cheaper. Their are a lot of British goods being sold. Their is also the Special Buys that they do on a Thursday where you can pick up a bargain. Their is disabled parking spaces and the entrance is disabled friendly. Also their are now electric car charging points at the far end if the car park. They have now removed their screens so it nice to see who is serving you. They are now selling pumpkins and outfits for Halloween.

Has everything U need for a family shop prices have gone up I wanted to spend 50 it came to 80 ,so if on a budget watch what Ur spending parking over all it's cheap and great for family shop 50 new jobs are being made and there's a planning app in the pipeline

My partner and I always come away from a weekly shop her satisified that we've kept within a reasonable budget. It can be a little hit or miss with fresh produce depending what day & time you visit but more often than not they are fully stocked.

The staff are great, never had an issue with that side of the service here, I've found that when packing they adjust their speed to the type of customer they have where appropriate. The store is also kept clean and tidy (aside from the occasional stray boxes or crates).

The only thing I would do where possible is to try and have a couple more tills open where possible as it can get a little backed up for those trying to use the end of the aisles.

Parking fine. Always pleased. Go to various sites /towns a happy customer.

Good prices and good quality.Not as much choice of products as larger stores but offer unique goods instead.

bikes were safe in parking, spacious lanes between product shelves, cyclye trailer/stroller just fit through checkout- kids were bored to death-good shopping!

Your usual Aldi, good range of produce at low prices. This is a new store so everything is neat and tidy and well presented

Excellent staff, well mannered and helpful. This store was well stocked today and everything was fresh.

Car park is plenty big enough for there to be no issue with leaving your vehicle.

Great shop. They need to remove the shopping trolley park in the car park that's only a short walk from the main one at the front of the shop. It takes up a parking space and trolleys end up in the middle of the road. Silly design.

I just want to say a massive thank you to the ladies that helped me in your car park yesterday. You're staff were absolutely amazing and so supportive, making sure I was OK and also taking care of my children while I was with the paramedic. Many thanks once again 🙏

Aldi is aldi good cheap supermarkets selling a lot if their own brands over main and no difference in taste

Went I about 8.30pm and it was great, found everything I wanted, hardly anyone bumbling about getting in everyone's way. And I didn't even had to queue. Just think about that if you will, no queues in Aldi. I'll just let that sink in while I say a trip to Aldi's later in the evening is an absolute pleasure. Plus of course the great prices! An update now Aldi has been there a little while now. Late evening shopping is still a pleasure, with hardly anyone else about. After work is a different matter of course. They are endlessly closing and opening checkouts, and it seems whenever they open one it takes a good few minutes and several requests over the tannoy before any staff appear. I'm guessing it's not a popular job. So that can be frustrating and is a needless time waste. But the prices are still good, despite prices generally going up everywhere.
