Veggie breakfast comes with bubble and squeak style sausages and the tomatoes really are lovely they aren't lying!

A real shame to see some negative press recently. We had a couple of absolutely delicious bacon sandwiches here last Thursday, lots of thick cut fried bacon and lovely fresh bread for £6 each. Well worth the money.
Service was excellent, the only reason I've given it 4 for atmosphere was due to the vulture-like gulls waiting to steal our food - sadly out of the control of the café staff..

What an amazing place. Was very very busy but staff couldn't do more than enough to make your experience enjoyable. The poached eggs were amazing and perfectly cooked.

Epic breakfast sandwich and coffee. Really friendly service and lovely to sit outside and see the sea. Can't recommend this place enough for a traditional breakfast bap! Even the little people enjoyed the size of the bacon sandwiches.

Visited this cafe for the first time and am extremely impressed with the staff and the quality of food we were served. The portions were more than we imagined and the prices were exceptionally reasonable. The tea was perfect too! Thanks for opening up early too - meant we could enjoy the sights of Salcombe by boat after an awesome breakfast....I will be back! :) Keep up the impeccable service.

Great food, great staff. Typical of grockles to not understand that sometimes service can be slow because the population of the town goes up 5 fold in the summer months and all businesses are short staffed because they have made it too expensive for ordinary people to live in Salcombe. Want fast food go to McDonalds and stay at home. Want decent home cooked food this is your place.

Imagine the early morning after a half a country long night drive. Coffee is a must and tummy is asking for fuel. There is a view over the marina and car park next to the place. Perfect and convenient setting. These guys looked after me. I had two great coffees and the biggest breakfast they serve. Coffee was strong and tasty and every bite of food was a pleasure. The place offers four or five tables inside and much more outside. They are crowded sometimes, yet this is not surprising with food and service of best class. Guess where I went next morning... and the morning after...

Great breakfast - friendly flexible service and good quality food

Excellent staff at Cpt. Morgans. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Chef came out and asked us how our lunch was. Overall quality service.

Ellie, Emma and crew are very good and of course the coffee and breakfast is great. Good to see local businesses doing it as it should be done... Good to Great!

Sausage sandwiches have been perfect on both recent visits . Good quality sausage cooked to have a thin crisp exterior.

Morgans is an institution. If you visit Salcombe and don't have breakfast here you have missed out on a key part of the experience. Avoid depression and don't count calories. Eat drink and sit back to enjoy being in the throng of this beautiful town. But don't enjoy it for too long because there's bound to be someone waiting for your seat

Visited for breakfast - yummy smashed avocado and the best scrambled eggs. Delicious coffee and very quick and friendly service especially under current difficult conditions

My husband and I had lunch here and it was perfect...we have never seen such white fish which was cooked to perfection..the waitresses were all lovely and made us welcome

Absolutely superb breakfast and approachable staff. It's intimate and cosey, great for all weathered days.
