Nancy's Tea Shop

This is a beautiful vintage tea shop! The food, the atmosphere and the experience is worth a visit. I love it! I will certainly miss you Nancy's!

Stopped for cakes and drinks on way back from the coast as good location for A11/M11. Lovely location with friendly staff. Great selection of cakes and food, very hard to make a decision between all the choices. We didn't have the cream tea but it looked to be a good option. Highly recommended if you're near Newmarket.

Stopped here for a spot of lunch on Saturday. We both had the sausage sandwiches, hot chocolate and tea. Lovely sausages, fresh thick bread. Staff were friendly, polite and the sofa by the window is lovely!! Highly recommend and thank you.

Wonderful atmosphere, afternoon tea amazing especially the warm scones. Bit disappointed to pay extra for gluten free. Bet veggies don't have to pay extra, coeliac disease is a medical condition. The service was brilliant and the needlecraft on walls beautiful.

Had afternoon tea here today for myself and three friends. I was the only one needing gluten-free food and it certainly did not disappoint.
We have actually been here three times now and the quality of gluten-free sandwiches, Scones and cake are amazing; especially the scones. They are without a doubt the best gluten-free scones- which were well risen and moist- I have ever had. I wish I had taken a picture of them.
Cakes as well were just lovely, especially the fruit cake which was my favourite one.

Been here several times for festive afternoon tea with santa. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, lovely Xmas afternoon tea and meeting 🎅

Great atmosphere and has a wide variety of unique and posh teas. Decor is extraordinary and has a nice homely vintage vibe. Great choice of lunches and soft drinks that are deliciously different. The cakes are baked to perfection and the other sweet treats are delicious and filling. The whole experience just leaves all the customers happy and satisfied and the staff are extremely kind and cheery. Would definitely recommend going with family and friends for any occasion!

I've there during Xmas holidays with some relatives from Spain and we all felt in love with the place.
The staff a d the owner were so lovely to us even showing us how a Xmas cracker works.

We were booked to dine on but at the last minute had to swap to a takeaway. Nancy's was happy to switch for us with no problem at all. The service was very friendly, helpful and easy going. We had the classic afternoon tea. Served at home in the photo. Was absolutely tasty and would highly recommend it. Good value for money and we couldn't finish the scones, finger sandwiches and cakes all in one sitting. Will certainly be getting again!

It was a weekday afternoon and only people in so no atmosphere but as there were 7 of us it was perfect

12/8/21 my Bonita princess bring me here for a special day and I most say it's so deli so yummy 😋 I got a Christmas 🎄 tea and the 3-tier plates with mini sandwiches and orange scones 🍊 and cake with 🍓berry jam are so delicious the customer service is also great I highly recommend coming to try this lovely place Happy Holidays ❄🎄⛄

First visit today and what a lovely visit for a late breakfast. Great service and fantastic food. The décor would not be to everyone's taste but is perfectly fine.

One of the highlights to my visit in Newmarket! Biggest gluten free options list I have seen anywhere for pastries! I tried both scone options but went back for take out and got the plain ones. The loose leaf tea clogged up the spout as I tried to properly pour my tea and ended up making a big mess. Half a cranberry was the culprit. The staff was very kind and helpful with the cleanup! The tea names and decor are fabulous! The tea and pastries are worth a trip to the tea room every day!!!!

Lovely traditional tea shop. Great choice of teas as well as light bites, cakes and scones. Friendly helpful ladies serving. Love the mismatch china. You can't beat tea in a china cup with your own generous teapot. My cheese scone was fresh from the oven and exceptional. Will certainly visit again when I'm next in Newmarket and definitely recommend it.

What a lovely place, went over this morning for a breakfast an it's lovely it has a doll house kind of theme, so very suitable to take your children , I guess it's because of the name Nancy's tea shop ,the staff very helpful an very polite , now don't be surprised when you order scramble an pancakes I say this don't spect them to look like your American style breakfast , I guess everything in UK looks fancy , will recommended to any one location also a plus very centre .

Lovely little tea shop with old fashioned decor and a great selection of teas! Each blend is unique; you definitely won't see teas like these in your run-of-the-mill tearoom. I chose the Flirt-Tea which is a white tea blended with cherry, rose hip and a hint of rose petal. Delish! Staff were friendly and helpful and the place was clean and well-kept. Give it a try.
