It was here a few years ago that I found a big difference in petrol quality. I always thought all petrol was the same. It isn't. Filling up at Esso Williton it was very clear that this petrol gave a lot more power than the petrol already in the tank, amazing. The very helpful garage man said[the extra power comes from the petrol being always fresh and top quality.

No queue and young man behind the desk could not have been more helpful. He was very forthcoming in the directions that I asked for. Good value sandwiches and great choice of cold drinks. Delighted

They've stayed open throughout the Covid 19 crisis. A big thanks to all the staff - you've earned it. Always a handy stop off for fuel, groceries, and the car wash is very convenient too. A real asset to Williton

Visit here was a revelation! When you fill up with petrol you can usually smell the fumes a bit and from experience I know petrol doesn't age well with "old" petrol smelling "not nice".
Here I commented to a staff member how sweet the petrol smelt and in my opinion it would give more power to the engine. His reply supported that inasmuch their petrol is always very new and they order to maintain that newness.
1 day later::: As above, this fuel was noticeably more powerful than other old smelling fuels with better mpg as well.
An eye opener, new petrol is far better than old petrol. Find it and support it.

Good stop off point on the way to Porlock, we have food at Avenue 39, brilliant cafe. Also good shops to visit, brilliant outdoor/farming shop called Gliddons, well worth a visit.
