Have used this place for years and have purchased a fair bit through them over time.
I got my first chainsaw from here back in 2014 and when it was stolen last year I was amazed to find they still had the full details of the purchase on record including the serial numbers which could be handed to the police.
If you know what you want and can find it cheaper then go for it, an intentional beat down on price won’t get you far these guys are to long in the tooth for those games.
At Gliddons you’re paying for professional knowledge built over many years of experience and in my experiences I’ve found Pete to not only advise me and my previous customers well on what to purchase but has always been competitive on price. The equipment I bought only failed me when I didn’t listen to their advise or tried to penny pinch, which left me going back with my tail between my legs until
I learnt my lesson. Only then I could continue with my work in confidence knowing I had the right tool for the job!

Having now moved into a different profession, I’ll continue to recommend Gliddons in an honest way, the same way it was recommended to me many years ago.

Had a leak under the sink and everything I need I manage to buy in a kit they also sell individual plumbing parts although a small selection seems that if you need it they have it or will order for you

Brilliant Country Shop in Willerton. Reasonable prices, great sale rail. This shop sells everything you need for the outdoor life well worth a visit. I purchased an underlayer to help keep my Grandson warm whilst fishing and shooting!! Friendly, knowledgeable staff.

What a find.. Was on way home from holiday and stopped off here. As soon as you open the door the aroma took me back to my childhood when walking into an ironmongers.. A treasure trove of a shop

Fantastic old world style hardware. Proper shop, Aladdin's cave. Open all through the last year. Strict Covid rules so totally safe to shop. Three stores in one, hardware, clothing, and machinery. My pole saw chain broke, it was an odd size, they made me one up to fit. Amazing.
And yes, you have to wait outside - COVID - limited number allowed inside! And this is proper service not click and collect!!
