Notcutts Garden Pride

Just been here for a quick visit to get a drink and bite to eat. But we noticed a sign to the notcutts nature trail.
Curiosity took hold and found an entrance behind the sheds for sale that went into a field turned into a nature trail. It was very peaceful and we were the only ones in it apart from birds and insects. Loads of plants and bug houses, there were blackberry bushes apples trees and other fruit just planted for the wildlife.
It was so nice to see a garden centre putting land back to nature and not doing it for profit as they did not charge to go in. You can follow the path around and enjoy the peace. Over the far side there is a bird feeding center and a wooden bench to sit and watch. Unfortunately the feeders were empty this time, hopefully next time we will be luck to catch them with feed in and we will see some native birds.

Well done notcutts hopefully other garden centres will follow your lead.

Very well presented and laid out. A good range of plants and looked well taken care of. It was my first visit and I lover it. Price is comparable to other garden centres.

Visited 03rd January. Had a delicious lunch at the restaurant, excellent value and friendly staff.Big thankyou to the two members of staff Ben and female co-worker who retrieved our friends 90th birthday helium balloon from the ceiling of the building. They went above and beyond and are a credit your organisation. Will definitely visit again.

Been coming to this garden centre for many years and seen it grow and grow all for the better. The place is light and full of exciting shops (Cotton Traders is absolutely amazing- staff are v friendly and loads of bargains) and their jewel in the crown is the café restaurant - especially now with the NEW dog friendly seating inside. We stopped coming in the winter as I'm getting too old to sit outside in the cold.. but now we can visit ALL year round. Thanks for making this change. The café restaurant is always clean and tidy, staff welcoming and helpful and the food varied and good value. The only bad thing now is that I'm going to be broke as their is so much to see and buy. Lovely garden centre that sells high quality kitchenware, toys, and pet products as well as the garden related stuff. Great cafe with playground. The plant selection is vast and there us an excellent range of pots.

We were really impressed with the value for money, and the kids loved the playground outside.

They had a sale on plants and garden furniture so we checked it out, it's worth going if you're in the area or want a trip out.

Plenty of stock available and they are currently changing the collection from Christmas to spring to keep it fresh. The millionaire shortbread was delicious as was the hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows. All staff stopped for the 2 minute remembrance silence which was very respectful.

I've kind of discovered this place, having lived 30years in the Sussex area! Always went to Hassocks Garden Centre, which I haven't really enjoyed AT ALL! People here are are SO FRIENDLY AND RELAXED PLUS TOTALLY HARDWORKING! The menu and service is top notch, and brought to your table so quickly, it's unbelievable? I'll be bringing myself and the grandchildren here, for sure. Well Done Everyone, especially Sue and Anita!

We regularly visit with my disabled mother in law. The garden centre is excellent and we always have lunch.
The staff in the restaurant could not be more helpful, the food is good with a limited menu but good choices. Thank you.

very nice pancakes 🥞🤤, english breakfast, sausage sandwich aswell. Got there extra early and waited about 5 mins for our food!

Great breakfast, under £10 for 2 thanks to the get out eat out offer. Service was good despite the queue waiting for the restaurant to open. Climate control was also good. Visited again February 2022, still doing breakfast deal two breakfasts for under £13. Friendly staff and good service. Had Christmas lunch today very good, very Christmassy. Had just coffee, easy parking.

I visit Nottcutts regularly and always find the staff friendly and helpful and today was no exception. I needed a new hosepipe and wasn’t sure what to buy but was very fortunate to meet Ella, who kindly went through all the options with me. What a lovely and professional member of staff - Nottcutts you are lucky to have her working with you.

Great garden centre. Has a huge lovely cafe and lots of outlet shops here including hotter shoes and Edinburgh woollen mill etc.

Stopped here for lunch, their cafe is just lovely, spacious inside, lots of outside seating and a kiddies play area.
They gave a ‘function room’ for get together etc.

Good variety of excellent quality plants and tools - staff were very helpful. Not cheap but reliably good value.

A nice garden centre which offers plenty of choice to garden items, cookware, food and more. It’s a great place to spend an hour or two and is in a nice setting too.
