Downham Garden Centre

Great garden centre, we even travel from Gayton to go there. So helpful and they have a great variety of shrubs, flowers and trees. Specially must be their roses 🌹.

Really lovely garden centre with good reasonable prices on everything. All the staff are extremely helpful and friendly especially Sarah. There is plenty of choice here, more than expected of a small independent business.

Great service start to finish including delivery and taking items purchased through to the rear garden without any fuss. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend using this local business. I think their prices compare favourably with bigger stores but personally I would pay a bit more and get this excellent service. Thank you

If you're looking for some beautiful pots for your garden, bulbs for the spring; seeds galore, whether for your vegetable patch or flowers for your borders; lovely trellis panels; maybe some exquisite plants for your pond; fruit trees or bushes; perhaps a climbing plant or two; shrubs of varying sizes and types, and of course (in season) masses of annual or perennial bedding plants, with the compost to tuck them down into, or potions to keep them safe and healthy, and lots more besides, then Downham Garden Centre is THE place to be. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff are always on hand should they be needed - and then, of course, there are the meerkats ... Now, just between you and me, word has it that mummy meerkat has just had some more babies. They won't be out on show yet but, give them a little while and you mighy just be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of something really rather special. This I promise - you will not be disappointed, whatever the reason for your visit.

Lovely garden centre, good choice and Meerkats too

Nice, small garden centre and very well stocked. No indoor plants which is a shame but I suppose it is called a 'garden' centre! The meerkats are a strange but lovely addition which my daughter's absolutely loved. Friendly, chatty staff and good quality products.

A proper garden centre with a traditional feel and friendly staff. Advice is on hand and the staff are knowledgeable. They even stock organic vegetable seeds and their grass seed selection is very good. A pleasure to have this in my home town.

I bought a water feature from them yesterday it is really good and I am well pleased at the price I paid and the service I received they fetched it out to my car the man with more than helpful

This is a little gem tucked away. Great prices and everything you need for your garden is here, from plants to bird houses. Staff are all very helpful.

One of my favourite places to visit. A vast variety of products, including garden plants, gardening products, home ware, decor, pet section etc etc!!. Cafe is amazing and always 10/10 when we come in. I love the outdoor sections. The staff are always pleasant and we always have a good experience when visiting.

Lots of stock of all you could possibly need and all reasonably priced. Staff very helpful too. If item is too big for your vehicle they offer a delivery service. £2 for local area to Downham Market.

Our favourite garden centre in the area! Good prices. A lot of nice and interesting plants, and good, local advice. They offer free delivery locally, on those larger items. Good aquarist shop, and great bulbs and seeds.

Great place well stocked and worth a visit.

A small family run business that offers a good choice of products for all your gardening and aquatic needs with the added bonus of being able to speak to the owner if you have a question or problem in your pond or garden. There are bigger garden centres locally but this is always my destination by choice. Having stocked a new pond a few months ago I recommend anyone looking for fish from little Goldfish to all sizes of Koi to visit this establishment before they make a final choice. A personal service by friendly staff is always guaranteed.

A bit of a tardis, looks tiny as you pull in, but opens up inside. And has an outside area you cant see from the road. Does pond stuff too. Good prices and helpful, friendly staff..
