Porcupine Pantry Cafe

I recently visited Porcupine Pantry Cafe in Penshurst, Tonbridge, and I was absolutely delighted with the experience. Nestled in the picturesque surroundings of Penshurst Place, the cafe offers a charming and cozy atmosphere that's perfect for a relaxing meal or a casual coffee break.

The menu is thoughtfully curated, featuring a wonderful selection of freshly prepared dishes, ranging from hearty breakfasts to delicious lunches and delectable homemade cakes. I opted for the quiche of the day, which was perfectly baked and bursting with flavor, accompanied by a fresh, crisp salad. My partner enjoyed the classic English breakfast, which was generous in portion and cooked to perfection.

The coffee at Porcupine Pantry Cafe is exceptional. I savored every sip of my cappuccino, which was rich, smooth, and expertly made. The variety of teas and other beverages on offer is also impressive, catering to all tastes and preferences.

One of the highlights of our visit was the exceptional service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel right at home. They were more than happy to accommodate dietary preferences and provided excellent recommendations.

Nice Cafe set in the lovely Penshurst Place House & Gardens, Kent. A good menu with freshly prepared food and excellent coffee. Plenty of seating indoors and out.

A very pleasant place to eat after a long walk. This café has been enlarged since we first came here. It continues to be welcoming and great place to enjoy some refreshments after taking advantage of the many good walks in and around Penshurst.

Amazing Goats Cheese quiche with a variety of salads. Lots of seating and parking. Great day out for cycling or walking!

Tasty little eatery with good selection of sandwiches, cakes and coffee. Good stopping place for a bite to eat while exploring the local area or cycling through Kent. They have ample seating available both indoor and outdoor depending on weather. Highly recommend their lemon drizzle cake

Perfect to refuel after a long walk. Loved the vegi crisps with my roll!

Lovely outdoor seating. Was here with my bike club and there was ample bike parking. The indoor area is very nice and airy. Will have to bring the family!

Great that the cafe was open even though Penshurst Place was closed. Now has more space than before and dog friendly. Welcome respite from a wet and muddy walk.

We went nearly to closing time, so only managed to get a coffee and a cake. What a beautiful setting! There is a nice/big gift shop next to the cafe. Playground looks quite big but opens from April, so definitely getting back to check it out.

Excellent sausage rolls, great service in a lovely location

Lovely place, food was lovely too, but only down side if you sit outside it's in paper cups and cardboard dish for cake and no plates if having baguette. 😔... But can't complain about food, staff or location.

Nice cafe at side of penshurts place

Tasty coffee and a delicious Brownie during a rest stop on a long cycle ride. On a previous visit with the family we had sausage baguettes which were also pretty good.

This is a good place for a cycling stop as there is a place to secure your bike, plenty of outside seating, and toilets.

Good to have a nice relaxing coffee and food.
Not a large selection of food choices but all was very well prepared and tasty.
Service was excellent and they had many books, magazines and things for the kids.
Well worth a visit to have chilled out time.

Just stopped in during a morning walk. Coffee & croissant - nice coffee, tasty snack & quick service - lots of water bowls for dogs around also. Nice location

After the recent extension it's even better than before. Great stop during a hike or ride
