Very cosy and lovely room in a quiet hotel that is a short walking distance from everything!

I also loved the fact that there is a small fridge in a room which was super helpful.

Dog friendly place. Really clean. Very comfortable.

And a special thank you to the ladies that run this place. The service is superb from start to finish. 🥰

Thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Victoria House. Room was delightful, staff were attentive and friendly topped off with a bountiful breakfast. Will certainly stay again when revisiting the area.

We spent three days here in March. We were made so welcome, bed comfy and must be the cleanest hotels I have been in. This is no small feat in an old building. Breakfast varied and delicious. I am not going to recommend a room as I want to go back soon and I want that room. A big thank you to all the hard working staff.

A small warning for the area. You need to book dinner in the nearby pubs. Even in March these were busy with good food and service. We were restricted to pubs as we have a dog.

Great walking from the hotel. Enough to meet the most demanding dog and owner.

What an amazing and beautiful place!

We were so lucky to stay here, from the moment we arrived we felt so incredibly welcome by the very friendly staff. The rooms are so pretty and comfortable, and the breakfasts are DELICIOUS!

Brilliant value for money. Stayed in the Durbar room top floor.
Beautifully decorated, complimentary Sherry, mini fridge, TV, iron and ironing board available. The bathroom was a decent size and the water was pleasantly warm.

Breakfast service was great, food was cooked well. Attentive staff and a lovely environment.

The only down sides are the parking, although found somewhere around the corner to park and the room was a little warm, fan provided.

Would recommend a visit, would stay again.

Everything about Victoria House is 5*, from the gorgeous courtyardesque garden to the staff and the decor. The bed was super comfy, rooms really clean and the staff were just so welcoming.

You can walk out the front door and be in the hills in no time but you can also hop on a train into Shrewsbury with ease.

I wouldn’t hesitate to reccomend!

From start to finish the stay was without fault. Beautiful breakfast every morning. Room clean and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Big thank you Diane, Sarah, Jane, Tina and Theresa (I don't think I met anyone else during my stay). Will definitely be booking again soon :-)

A warm, friendly welcome. Beautiful, comfortable room. Lovely, personal service and an excellent breakfast. Victoria House continues the Victorian tourism feeling of the importance of the location and the lovely walks in Carding Mill Valley and surrounding area.

A fantastic B&B. Warm, friendly and welcoming. Everyone I met there was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and really knew what they were doing. The room was comfortable, although I could hear the church bells every so often, but quickly tuned them out. The breakfast is a joy. Highly recommended.

My friend and I recently stayed for 3 nights at this charming B & B. Diane and her staff were most welcoming, friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Albert room which we loved...the beds were very comfortable and the room was well stocked with complementary teas, coffees, hot chocolate and biscuits..not to mention the sherry which added a lovely touch..! We loved the fluffy robes too and felt right at home..Breakfast was excellent too...It was a pleasure and a joy to stay here...I will be highly recommending this place....

A really lovely quaint Hotel. The attention to detail is absolutely surpassed. From a friendly welcome on arrival, exquisitely furnished rooms, fantastic food and staff that clearly go above and beyond. Very impressed with this Hotel. I can honestly say value for money and overall standards excellent. I can not fault it in any way.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. The breakfast was exceptionally good. The House is well maintained and perfectly clean. Wonderful atmosphere, will definately use again.

Lots of stairs but worth the climb. A big old rambling house with the biggest bath I've ever seen. Lovely views from the top floor. Super breakfast and friendly host, who also runs a trendy cafe from the ground floor room. Highly recommended and in a great location for walking.

Diane looks very busy but she still want to be helpful. I could imagine why she's very busy. The room was perfectly prepared when I arrived. I think it's much more details attention than some of starred hotels which I've been. Scone is complementary on arrival and it was so delicious! Lovely B&B in Church Stretton.

This is a favoured b&b which we revisited this month. Everything as great as ever. Our room was immaculate and the staff and food simply outstanding.

Great base for walking carding mill valley and long mynd. Excellent breakfast to start the day, and you are above Jemima's coffee shop too!

I have never stayed anywhere where I can give 100% but here I can. From the welcome on arrival to the room, breakfast and the additional bits to the most friendliest, helpful staff who are always smiling and polite. This place is perfect! Great location. Most highly recommended!

Stayed in "Albert", an extremely comfortable and well appointed twin room with ensuite shower room. We had to arrive after normal hours, but owner was very accommodating and made easy arrangements for us. Breakfaat tasty and plentiful. Highly recommended if you prefer to stay away from generic chains and prefer a local experience.
