Paradise Cafe

I didn't expect much, considering this was a small town cafe selling British food. That either goes really well (but expensive) or really bad. Paradise cafe was cheap and amazing. Not only did the food come out fast but it was hot. They have mayo, ketchup and brown sauce free to use. I had vegetarian food and that was amazing. The atmosphere was very wholesome, as it was filled with families, friends and couples on dates. The milkshakes were £3.50 or £4! Any milkshake lover knows that is outrageously good. The waiters were so patient and caring, constantly asking if we needed or wanted anything and checking up on us. The toilet was also good, very clean. What made this place the best were the workers, they were just fantastic.

Fantastic little cafe absolutely buzzing. Staff were super friendly and the menu had everything at great prices. We chose a couple of sandwiches which were awesome, fresh bread, generous filling and even a few chips thrown in for good measure. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area or travelling to or from Stansted airport as we were

This is the best place in Dunmow for good value for money food. The service is always friendly and quick and nothing too much trouble.
It’s not fancy fine cuisine but it is delicious and filling with plenty of choice.
My partner and I have been coming here for a long time and never been disappointed!

Great cafe, especially for that important breakfast the morning after the night before!

I didn't go in for a while because they always looked full, but then I found out they had additional space out back. I'm glad I did as it was great. A bit on the pricey side, but hey, who isn't these days!

Came in on spec to while away half an hour or so on a rainy day.

Great service. The toasted cheese & bacon sandwich suggested by my server was really good. Came with a few excellent chips and a little bit of fresh & crispy salad garnish. The cappuccino came with lots of chocolate on top, really good.

Nice space to be in, even with a good crowd in it doesn't feel crowded. Several corners to tuck yourself away if you're so minded.

The staff are friendly and helpful, it's warm and clean and the food comes quickly. There's nothing more you could want from a cafe.

Well worth a visit when you find yourself in Gt. Dunmow.

Me and my boyfriend love this place, we always come here!! I have a go to breakfast when I’m here and although it’s a little obscure they always provide the best. They now know me for my order and it’s pretty funny as I don’t even have to say anything. Amazing place, good service, meals come out fast, staff are friendly and good prices!!

Great gem of a cafe, bike friendly with a safe storage area. Big menu well priced. Super friendly service. Indoor and outdoor seating areas. Can well recommend the milkshakes

I eat here once a week and the good is superb. The prices are really good too.

Came to visit Great Dunmow to try on wedding outfits and wanted to go for some lunch somewhere, but not knowing the area we googled close eateries. We are glad we found this place, the food was amazing, service fantastic and portion sizes were great. Will definitely be back. Thankyou.

Best little cafe in Great Dunmow, cheap and cheerful! They cook your bacon how you like it and you can make your own fry up!
Good selection on the menu and they make a good cup of tea.

Would recommend it (I usually go for a sausage and bacon baguette with hash browns)!

Parking close by ...cafe looked small from the outside but looks can be deceiving as there was plenty of room, got served quickly with our breakfast and they didn't scrimp on the portion polite staff and they didn't rush you out which was a good thing as we'd met up with a friend down from Wales ...highly recommend this lovely cafe 😃

A very nice cafe with decent coffee and lovely breakfast. Egg cooked perfectly, decent sausage and bacon. Fried bread was how my mother used to give it to me.
