The Boars Head, Dunmow

The only disappointment is that they don't have a kitchen anymore. They stopped doing food. Apart from that, it's a nice place to go to have a pint.

Friendly attentive staff, great beer and lager choices and very reasonably priced.

Geraldine and Patrick have been wonderful to my partner and I. We approached them looking for a quaint, traditional pub for our wedding reception and I cannot be more grateful for how we were treated and our experience with them. The decorations were wonderful, the buffet had been displayed beautifully, and the staff were amazing. Absolutely recommend their services for hire/events, and even just for a quick pint when passing by! So lucky to have a local pub, with wonderful and kind regulars in our town. Thank you all again and looking forward to seeing you again soon!

Tom and Geraldine went above and beyond for the wake of my husband.
The organisation, food and service was exceptional.
They made it a very personal occasion for all his friends and family and nothing was too much trouble for them. I would highly recommend this venue and its amazing staff. Thank you all very much.

Popped in for a pint as I had a long wait for my bus,good cold pint of Foster's and friendly bar staff,will go in again next time I'm in Dunmow.
